I have tried that after watching levy's games using this but man...i keept losing even to low elo don't know why but i think i feel superior when i know i am higher rated then my opponent and it gives me extra confidence 😅and it works well

@@anshulsharma5870 It takes a while to get used to it. Yesterday I beat someone with 150 points higher rated. I didn't know untill the game was over.

If you connect 3 points it is going to be a triangle. I don’t understand the value of connecting 3 points
@EngineerGambit2 күн бұрын
That's a great point! While a triangle itself may not have inherent value, the concept helps illustrate how connecting points can reveal patterns and relationships in the chess position. The main focus of the video is to help you identify these patterns on the board, which can significantly enhance your strategic thinking and decision-making in chess.

This is really interesting, I'm not a great player by any means but I appreciate these "hidden" patterns, I feel I could watch a whole series on this

I don't know a lot about chess but I think a gambit is where you sacrifice a piece for developement or advantage but you didn't sacrifice anything so I think this will rather be called as a engineer's opening not gambit
@EngineerGambit2 күн бұрын
Agree you can make that argument, in some lines you are gaining development as Black best responses are to play e5, a5 and c5 in the first 5 moves while White can develop pieces.

When I used to teach Chess Mates to kids I would show them the final mating position then work the moves backwards to show how it was achieved. They got it at once. I also used your triangles method too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! This video occurred to me as I was teaching my student to find mate in 1-2.
