1- Physical key should be programmed with the transpnder chip. 2- Put key in the ignition, don't turn. 3- Do 7 times lock & unlock with the center lock button. 4- 4 time key out and 4 times in from the ignition, leave key in the ignition, then start the car and press accelerator a little bit. 5- Turn off ignition and press any button in remote. If you hear lock & and unlock, that means remote has been programmed successfully, remove the key from the ignition, check the remote, and car should be started without the key now. Thanks

This operation just triggers car alarm system and unbinds existing key instead of adding another. Wtf.

Two questions: does it need to be a Suzuki fob, or will any brand work? Will it allow the keyless ignition to function?

@miao7002 no, I eventually had to get a factory refurbished Suzuki fob.

Put the key in the ignition. Press the lock / unlock button 7 times. Put the key in the ignition and pull out 4 times. Worked for me on keyless start Swift 2007. The ignition key has 3 positions.

Thanks. My remote reset after removing the battery and keep aside for several hours. Now lock/ unlock is working but there is no hazard lights. How can I fix it? (It was there before remote reset)

Don't do this procedure because it's immobilise your car and wipes the chip clean. Alot of money to then correct it

I never get the "beep beep" to confirm program mode. IDK what the problem is. It is beyond frustrating though.

I never got a beep beep. However, if after turning the key on and off the second time the locks automatically flip, you know you've got it. Make sure you're going all the way into the ON position, not just accessories - one click before hitting the starter, and then all the way off again.

@@tcholmes2237 turns out, my setup was totally different. There were two procedures in my owner's manual but I kept looking at the first. My car is full keyless and that was the problem.
