If you apply a little pressure to the tail and lift the front wheels until the back wheels reach the curb, you can do what’s called a “float” off of it. Front foot position is good, just need to put the back foot on the tail and lift the nose of the board rolling up. It’s helped a lot of kids I’ve taught with being comfortable pushing the tail down coming up on a drop, which will help with learning to ollie off drops later on. Hope this was useful, keep shredding!
