I believe you should have just posted you playing a few songs. That is more likely what they are looking for. Les' talking more playing. People don't have time to sit thru that kinda stuff. I hope you post you playing a song.

Thanks for viewing and your feedback… Primus actually posted yesterday that they prefer to see more than just playing to their songs. Obviously, you gotta be able to play the songs, but I think they can tell from my style that I can do what is required in their music . I appreciate you taking the time to care and comment. 😎🥁 There is also a part 2 video where I do more playing… different styles and even segments from songs.

Greg is not only a great teacher but a great person as well. His drum skills are amazing and he is a very down to earth guy. He taught my son as well as myself. What stands out to me the most besides being blown away by his talent was how before every class he genuinely always wanted to know how I was and how things were going for me personally. It wasn't small talk. He genuinely cared. He's just a great human and his drum skills are amazing!

Hi, great presentation of this FFPR, I liked hearing from several different guitar player's, it helps give us perspective. I'm new to the FF family but a long-time player, and I actually reviewed my FFTL on my KZbin channel it's a great guitar, and why I'm considering purchasing this guitar. Question: 1. You've mentioned in all three videos that prior to these videos that the pickups were swapped out for "Wilkinson" pickups. What model Wilkinson pickups are used in this video on the guitar? 2. Is the tremolo system a 6 screw trem on the final production model? 3. Does the final production model come with the split pickups? Guitars Garden doesn't say Thanks in advance and once again, good job on the video.

Hey, thanks for the kind words… no idea what’s happening here, but this is the third or 4th time I’ve tried to reply to your questions and it’s not posting for me… The pick ups are Wilkinson M Series… Im not sure about the tremolo or “splitter” system … I doubt they are available on the current FFPR… but can’t be for certain. One thing for sure… the guitar plays and sounds great!

I didn't know I was a lefty drummer. I throw left, I swing left, I golf and bowl left. The drums caught me off guard. I played open handed on a righty for 2 months, I sucked. I flipped everything and I was playing RUSH within a year. I'm actually a natural cross dominant, or mix handed. I write with my right hand. I'm unique on all my family members. Keep it up young fellow.

So I had this just sitting nearby a few other guitars in my "to do" pile. I picked it up and noticed the setup was basically done. I plugged it into my Marshall MG10CD practice amp and it roared to life. I haven't been this thrilled with a strat copy since I snagged a Dillion custom shop super strat.

I started playing drums in my early teens on an old wooden snare with a pair of goose neck lamps for cymbals. Even though I'm right handed, playing lefty just felt right. When I played ice hockey, I shot left handed, but when I played goalie in roller hockey, I played right handed. In baseball and softball, I'm strictly right handed. Go figure. I guess you'd might say I'm selectively ambidextrous.

@@gregslone3503 thanks .well. I am a profi drummer 66 years old. played ten years left.but still the left foot was weak.I played right set up and the right hand was not natural.the answer is not so simple because in the open handed set up you need to deal with some big problems.

@@zvikamark6305 I’d be interested to see what you come up with… another thought… play a complete left handed set up with a double bass drum pedal… but using the extension pedal to your right as your man foot pedal… cross on the left hand… ofcourse this eliminates the possibility of using the hi-hat pedal… you’d have to clamp it shut… interesting situation you’re in for sure… keep us posted

Do nearly everything right handed, I play basketball, and beat my stuff lefty. And I’ve been playing on a righty kit for several years, recently realized I’m a left because I start my rolls that way and can’t do many fills on a righty kit. Learning how to kit lefty now after switching my kit. I play so much better now.

Here's a thought you find faults on a cheap guitar. Fix it! This is your moment to step up and become a real guitarist! Learn your guitar. I mod lots of budgets in this price range and have used the wilkinsons, ceramics and alnico V. Retail a set for me in Canadian dollars is $40 in China. A factory could get mass pricing at $20 say and the crapy ones they use now are $5-10. Avg delta in bill of materials $10. Everybody would pay $250 for that set up like this. Most will go get different pup's anyway at up to$50 on top of guitar cost. It becomes a customer savings. The alnico V are better than the ceramics in my opinion. Wish they'd ship to Canada

The FFLX is back in stock. I've had 7 Fireflys so far with the only issue being a FFTL needed a little bridge adjustment. I'm sure as with any budget and even some more expensive guitars QC will miss a small percentage of bad ones. I know some have had issues, but I also know some people are nit picking about $170 to $250 guitars.

I've purchased 2 Firefly guitars and both of them cost me over $100 tto get the frets levelled and polished. They also installed classical tuners on a steel string guitar! BIG FAIL!!!! Won't stay in tune and to fix this the tuners would have to be removed and the holes would have to be plugged to install steel string tuners. What do you think that would cost? DON'T BUY FIREFLY!!!!!!!!!
@gregslone35032 жыл бұрын
Well, I have over 10 Firefly guitars… nothing had to be done but truss rod adjustments or string changes… one guitar I had to reset a nut… for the price, I think they’re awesome! But, like I said… my experiences have been really good. I’m recording a solo album using their guitars and basses exclusively.
