RLTW This actually gives me a lot of clarity now. Growing up the same way on a beach and the homies. You said it right, just wanting to hear you’re good enough and be loved. I hated you but didn’t understand and all I thought was you hated me and everyone else. You were helping us stay alive. Those nights of riding the lighting sucked. No sleep till! I do remember one night I was on point with you and you gave me a compliment after mission. I held that for so long and can still word it just like you would….dick. Oct 21 was that night with that RPG. BP2 got that little squatter. Thank you for this because it really helped. You lead by example and most of us thought you were just being a dick. You were giving tough love like you grew up with and now I see that. I have never been able to burn out that image of Horrigan and Shea as it happened. But you gave me that confidence on that deployment brother and kept me alive.
