Am I the only one who thinks Viv Richard’s LBW was probably going down leg and maybe too high?

A fantastic tour and one of the best sides ever seen on Australian shores. The players were disciplined, Gatting was tactically astute and the atmosphere was great inside the squad. They did us proud.

Dilip Vengsarkar went to beach ate a fish dish and had a bad tummy. He was the best Indian batsman during that time. My uncle told me about this incident. Supposedly Mumbai Mafia did not want another Kapil success. There was a big anticipation about India vs Pakistan final. unfortunately both shat the bed.

Chasing 280. A massive score in those days. How do we approach this? Dribble our way to 140 off 38 overs.

51 off 122 balls. Thats 2 balls more than a T20 innings. How is that acceptable in a one day game?

Salute you Sir 'Cowdrey! 🫡 I used to see his pics in newspapers in my early schooldays&my 4th elder brother used to tell me about his greatness!&later I was selected to play for interstate & then Zonal Schools Team&when I left my small town for Bombay I got a chance to play for the great Vijay Merchant's company team! 🏏 Nice to see Colin speaking here!❤ 👍

Is Garfield Sobers the full quid? "That thing they do in England from the commentary box"? Would that be the commentary.

When you watch Mike Gatting bat, particularly when in full flow, there is no telling that he's not in anyway among the highest run getters of the late 20th century, in the league of Border, Miandad, Gooch etc. A big underachiever. A series of misfortunes and personal attitude issues.

This repeat was shown on 28th May 1986 when rain stopped play in a B&H Quarter final match between Essex and Notts. I was sat at Chelmsford at that game hoping for the rain to subside and Essex to win having put Notts into trouble at 39-3 chasing 196. Neither happened and the next day I wasn't there to see Notts win by 3 wickets. Good that you have managed to get these highlights for us to enjoy, thank you.
