Don't buy anything, lol. Use a cardboard sleeve from a pair of drum sticks. Rip open or cut on the long edge. Will fit right inside kick clamp and protect hoop without any sticky residue on your drums ;)

Damn! That pad really sounds like a quiet version of a marching-band snare drum.

excellent idea ! However sometimes the extra thickness might make it hard to clamp on your pedal (depending on the brand, I find Yamaha Hoops to be a bit thicker). If this doesn't work, just go to that same dollar store or hardware store and get the gritty non slip tape. Same texture as the one's that come with the kit. You can get a roll that will last you the next 20 years for the same price as one at the music store. You can cut it up any size and the thickness isn't an issue. I put tape on the bottom of the hoop too. thanks for the tip !!!

Sonor drums come packaged in a Sonor box with made in Germany, not a plain cardboard box with made in china
@LBird442 жыл бұрын
yup... says SONOR all over the boxes. Branding all over it. and not ALL their models are made in Germany. Their higher end stuff most certainly is. This is not a higher end kit.
