Since I’ve been watching your weekly videos, and practicing these valuable and life changing lessons, I see a shift in my own thinking, too. Your approach to things are very simple, yet hugely effective. I love it. Please recommend books you read. Thanks.

Excellent episode. I liked the verbiage around a topic that would typically turn me off right away and instead I listened all the way through.

Fantastic episode! Sometimes we might feed the wrong wolf, but the beauty of this tale is that it reminds us we always have the power to choose again. Thanks for the inspiration!

Right at the end, time stamp 1:22:10 "It is like jumping into the ocean and being the wave, like the wave in the moment. Stay in the moment and not in your way of thinking, in your box; how you think the world must be" keep allowing the breath of the moment to flow through you as well as "What is coming; what is in between all this." Joke: What is the problem with a mine? He can't think outside the box." One great teacher now dead for over 35 years Chogyam Trungpa said it this way (my paraphrase): Open to and allow the groundlessness of the felt-sense of the present situation and see how the mind tends to retreat to the false security of conceptualization (discursive thinking). He also commented; it is like jumping from an airplane without a parachute however the good news is that there is no ground.....It is free fall forever.

Thank you for always tuning in and for your practice. The more we become aware of it, the more we can let go if it’s sooner. Sometimes the habit is very strong, but when we come back to the present moment, we see it for what it is. 🙏💕

I love San Diego and I love surfing. I’m fighting this battle within myself and I don’t know where I am going in life, where my destiny lies or what’s my purpose on this earth. Surfing is my salvation. Skating I still blast myself with highs numbing the pain but surfing is pure. Dream big 🎉 what’s my plan to achieve that dream. I feel so aloof

Spotters like a lifeguards have to be in a optimum shape and be prepared to do their job. The health and live of the competitors depends on that. It's a totally disgrace to see unprepared 50kg kids doing that indispensable job in an important competitions. Congratulations to that amazing spotting team!
