The fat laces are a throwback to Bboying. The band was obsessed with HipHop and adopted the look rather than do the typical metal thing. Those are customizable 3Stripes. The insole is the first album cover, and there should be an extra set of insoles that pay homage to the demo. I would cop if I was more of a KoRn fan because I dig when adidas uses gum soles. I ran with a band called Bolt Upright back then, and that band ran with KoRn. I wore Superstar ADV in a Bolt Upright music video at the time. It’s cool to see KoRn stay true to the look all these years later. The band is 100% born of HipHop culture. Three collections in the same year from a band that obviously has a lot of say in these capsules.
