Turns out this motherboard does allow to change frequency of k-cpus. I was surprised to see this bios settings available after installing the 12600k.

In the last 2 years. Has the bios been fixed?

So im EXTREMELY new to this stuff and i was working on building my first pc, i wanted to get the Intel Core i9-12900KF as the processor. Is this going to work on this motherboard? Or will it give me any issues at all? Or should i opt to go for something different/better?

I have a problem with my 13600k and my b660m ds3h ddr4 board. Sometimes a blue screen appears or it restarts several times, it updates the board and the problem persists, until I deactivate Overclocking, install a clean operating system but cannot find the error

Hello, I have a question for you regarding the pc game flight simulator 2020. My computer is Amd Rayzen 5 3600 6 core. The graphics card is an Ati Radeon 6650 8 gb and a 64 gb 3,200 mhz ram memory. What would be the best graphic setting to use for flight simulator 2020? Is it, say, a medium setting

I had a Core I3-12100 that, under any load, would not go above 71c running an Arctic 420. I bought an I5-12600 non-K thinking the two extra cores would be useful and at the same 3.30 GHZ it would be the at the same speed as the I3 without too much extra heat. The I5 runs 25c - 35c at idle but will easily get up to 90c - 100c quickly under heavy load. I don't know how to undervolt vut I have all the fan curves set for a little back pressure in the Fractal Design XL. Not sure what to do.

Very informative. Watching this in 2024. I have a i9 13900H,64gb 5200mhz ram and an RTX4070. I run everything on Ultra but switch off water. I still spend most of my setup time tweaking the look. I think anything over 40FPS is more than usable. But for me performance is measured by the overall quality of the visuals. 3 months before MSFS 2024 comes out. I won’t be jumping for an RTX 4090. But I won’t sit by if the visuals need it for awesome graphics. As for VR I have a quest 3 and it’s more than adequate but I tend to be very tactile when it comes to flight sim. I have physical. A320 MCDU, FCU. A Javasim mini overhead panel and physical radio panel. When they bring out mini EFIS and ECAM later this year I’ll hopefully get those. I generally only use VR for VFR flying the C172 with G1000. And most of that is just sightseeing flights around places I’ve actually been.

I know b550 are old news, but I bought the b550m pro vdh, and wasn't sure if I needed a bios update to run the 5000 series, so I bought on aliexpress a ryzen 5 3600 for 70$ instead and will update down the line for a r7 5800x3D or 5700x3D when they'll be cheaper. Ill already have the bios updated, since the r5 3600 is still fairly powerful. I can't wait to build it.

The ASRock B560 Pro4 seems a better comparison. Their Pro4 boards are pretty cheap, but not absolute bottom of the barrel like the HDV board you reviewed. I got my B560M Pro4 for 80 Euros two years ago, so I think it compares well to the others in this lineup.

Would've been more interested in the ASRock B560-Pro4. That's only 70 Euros and seems to be ASRock's real B560 offer, not this complete crap one.
