The feed dog should be going down the needle should make contact right when it levels with the throat plate so both the needle and feeddog goes down together

@ALPQZM654 Жыл бұрын
Great video. For someone with no prior experience you did exceptionally well. Basically you lost the relationship between the top and bottom shaft. The belt may have jumped a tooth or the pulley may have slipped on the shaft. As the needle and vibrating foot begin to descend from top most position the feeder should begin to move up from its bottom position, clamping the material at the same time then move forward to the rear.

Same tight spot I am fighting on my 111W115 after it bound up due to the safety clutch being stuck.
@francisanchez59 Жыл бұрын
timing belt is out of time. slide the belt to the right then when the needle statrs to go down ,rotate the lower shaft to make the feed dog starts to iniatially move to the front, and the needle should meet the feed dog.when the feed dog starts to go up and align with the throat plate,the needle point should be starting to enter the hole of the feed dog.then put the belt back holding that position..=SINGER MECHANIC HERE from the phils.

This machine is too heavy duty for the light material that you are trying to sew, also any bunching of the threads would be a tension issue , that is assuming that you are using the right thread and needle for the job

Take that NOS gasket, soak it in oil, then place it between to pieces of sheet metal, with weight, it will likely straighten.

As was said, make sure you hold the threads, turn the hand wheel and make a few stitches manually. Seems to me, you top tension needs adjustment.

hey, i live nearby. Was thinking about these kyaks. do you still use the Isle?would you recommend over something else??? I used to fish alot out of my kayaks, looking to get back into it. Thank you
@azbikerider493 жыл бұрын
Honestly I hardly ever use it now. I use a race type board and just do everything on that. It’s a challenge but I make it work. But Isle people were very helpful to me. I asked a bunch of questions before I bought a board. I would recommend them for sure. It looks like they offer less designs now. Look at Bote as well.
@secretjourney48153 жыл бұрын
@@azbikerider49 Good to know. I’m just looking for a decent lower priced board to exercise with and maybe do a little fishing on the lakes up here. Just curious. I used to fish the croton river in the half mile south of the dam. I would get small mouth bass there. I’m curious if you ever catch smallies down in the stretch you film from? One more question. Can you and the paddle board fit under the trestle at high tide? (Laying down?) Thanks brother

Great set of videos! I have a very similar machine, an NSS-201, just labelled as a Delta. I'm working on tearing mine down now to do a rebuild, but am running into issues getting to the top "head" bolts, the 2x 1/4"-20 bolts that hold the top assembly on to the upper part of the chassis. Did you end up suing some extra-thin wrenches to get to those? I see that you have to loosen them and then slide the head off, but none of my wrenches will fit on those fasteners. How'd you do it? Thanks!
