Finally took the plunge and absolutely love it.. I am trying to alternate between Gunpla, scale modeling and miniature painting, for a bit of variety, each branch brings me great satisfaction and teaches me little skills that make me improve overall.. thank you for watching 👍

Just finished this kit 2 days ago. Great kit it’s just too fragile especially the hands the fingers will pop out and go flying.

I just finished the feet, which, if you look at the instructions, it's more than 50%.. I feel that filming all the building process would be tedious, and I have no editing skills whatsoever, as you can tell my vids so far are a 1 take wonder.. took some pics, anyway, and will try to put them together in a final reveal video.. best tip i can give you is to use google lens for translating page by page as you go along, and also color your panel lines while you proceed, to avoid missing some hard to reach places later on.. best of luck to you too.. stay tuned..

About 2 years ago I got a box of these from someone who was expecting something different. The plastic is more brittle/harder than what you’re used to from today’s plastic miniatures but “plastic glue” still works. The details are good but poses (and some faces) vary from excellent to super derpy. Also the scale of hands, weapons and shields are all over the place. Some of the weapons were broken but could easily be glued back on. I still love those miniatures, as they present an affordable playground of your imagination. Great for trying out paints, how to paint fur and skin on a slightly larger scale. Also great for doing conversions of all kinds. The Centaurs and Minotaurs fit well into the 32mm scale. Just look at those empty zones on their capes, plenty of space for symbols, heraldry or detail-attachments.

A cool tip is that if you have a flat surface pain the model with speed paint medium first and while its wet apply the speed paint color you actually want. Also try painting 2:1 thinned speed paint over metallic paint to get a cool tint to it.

How does the "Speedpaint Medium" on the Flat Surface help? Is there a video showing this? your thoughts are appreciated. cheers.

@@southpaw5483 so while the medium is still wet is the key here. The wet medium will provide an easy path for the pigment of the speed paint to spread out more evenly. Its kind of like when you put kool aid into a glass of water and the color from the drink powder starts spreading throughout the water without even stiring.

it is a GoPro Hero 3 Black edition attached with a surfboard mount. definition 1080 at 48 fps. for the "pole" videos I used an extendable monopod
