@@faithstoffels2147 thank you 🥰 and no the sugar will not melt at all. The oil is usually cool by time I add the sugar. Hope that helps

Honestly, I am not sure. You can always do a small batch with the clay and test it to see how it holds up in the water

Hello, I use it on my sensitive areas and have not had any issues. My customers also have never complained of any sensitivity issues. If you want you don’t have to add the essential oils. Hope that helps ☺️

Hello I hope everything is well with you so I have a question being that Sea moss has the expiration date for 3 to 4 weeks how long do the scrubs last? I like will it go bad because the moth is inside of it?

Hello Candace, All is well on my end 💚 the shelf life for these scrubs were 6 months. I have never had any customers complain about mold and the lemon juice in the scrub works as a natural preservative. You can also use germall plus preservative as well for extra precaution. I personally never have a scrub grow mold and all of my customers never reported any mold either.

Hey Belen! Sorry for the late reply. So tumeric in general will leave a tint on any complexion. When I use my glow scrub I typically use it before my shower and let it sit and then I follow up with my soap of choice to wash my body. In regards to the shelf life, with preservatives, I keep the shelf life at 12 months. I hope this helps 💕💕💕💕

Do you end up adding more sugar than the 1000 grams? I find that it was still a bit runny with just the equal amounts. Do you not have to add the preservative to the whole formula including the sugar? Thanks in advance

Hello Belen, I did not add more sugar. I used equal parts sugars to oils. Factor in when you let the scrub sit it will solidify once the shea butter in the recipe sets. In regards to the preservatives I add it to my oils before incorporating the sugar. I would add the scrub to your container and you should definitely see a difference in a couple hours

The conversion is a pretty simple process, if the recipe calls for 40% of an ingredient it transfers over to 40G. Pretty much 1% is equivalent to 1 gram. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions ☺️

concerning the flowers .... you can melt the candle top with a heatgun so you get a shallow pool. Then drop in de flowers Maybe with a tool. 👍

Could you just skip the step of blending the sea moss and just use already made sea moss? Also could germall plus be added as preservative?

Yes, for sure! My new formula I no longer use the seamoss. I also do incorporate germall plus in my new formula as well. I have the video available on my channel showing the new formula step by step. Hope this helps 🫶🏽

Great formula and video! Just wanted to mention that germall plus should not be used in anhydrous formulas. It’s not considered an oil soluble preservative. Try Euxyl Pe 9010 instead. Thank you for sharing:)
