As the owner of a 2023 Bolt, I really am sold an electric. GM decided to end production like the idiots they are. At least they plan to bring it back in 2025

Here's a thought that vehicle was only capable of 60-100 miles. plus only viable in warm year round weather. Today's EVs are too many problems,too long to charge, battery creating too much weight and collapse parking garage.

How is this beneficial with the construction of the vehicle and then destroy a working vehicle and the pollution from the building and destroying these vehicles? It all sounds terrible to me and will never get an electrical car.

Did the cars of long ago use Lithium batteries?

Commodore was only a ballast for the Amiga. They bought the Amiga in a close to release ready state and they just removed features (like the half size rom and other half to be loaded from disk or the halved ram size) and so the A1000 was born. Jay Miner and his team created this wonder and I hate to hear it was a commodore product. Commodore was still in the middke of the c64 twhen Amiga inc already tested the Amiga (made out of breadboards but with the most of the chipset functions in place). Commodore and Amiga was technologically night and day. Also commodore’s leadership caused the end of the Amiga. (There was AAA chipset and 16 bit audio already in the drawer but left unrelelased because of the dumbness of commodore. They also wanted to release a smaller config after the A500. They pulled the brake on a train which was capable to very high speed…

The world's supply of Cobalt and Lithium is controlled by one place, China! Who owns those locations? China! Are they able to be recycled like a "normal" car? Nope. Are there safe and regulations on the process of making the battery's? Nope! Child labor in third world countries that dig with their bare hands and small tools, every day for penny's or food, just to get the small amounts of material to build these batteries. So, as you're in your car, with plastic and foam and 4 round things that go round and round, ask yourself where that material comes from and then...😊 look in the mirror and smile...because you, right now realize, you're a complete idiot!

This did not benefit the company cars that ran with oil! They needed to milk you with buying gas and car insurance! This would collapse the automobile industry

Hier begann etwas verdammt Großes. Ich erinnere mich gerne an meine Amiga-Zeit zurück und bin froh, dass ich dabei war.

Aktienmärkte steigen immer dann, wenn in der Realwirtschaft nichts mehr zu verdienen ist. Dieser Mann verbreitet absolut zeitlosen Inhalt. Kann man sich auch nach 15Jahren wieder ansehen!

EV's sounds great, but where the electricity will realistically come from is never addressed. "just plug it in" as if the power will magically appear

This film totally ignores many major obstacles to electric vehicles being the answer to human-caused climate change. It is not a science-based movie, but one of feelings, notions, and propaganda. Maybe if we weren't wasting trillions of dollars on progressive "projects" and taxing the companies and population to death we could develop technology that would be cost-effective, low-polluting, and viable.

If there was no demand for them and it was a big flop then why wouldn't they give the leasers an option to buy them

The Gov MADE GM build the EV1. They did as they were told, but, meanwhile they financed politicians and got them voted into seats in DC where they could help GM and those people got the EV law repealed. THEN, in an act of defiance, GM collected all the EV1s and took them all out into the Nevada desert & crushed them all. !

What people don’t understand is that these cars 🚗 will never replace petroleum fueled cars as the infrastructure for electric cars is not even close to what is required for everyone to drive them and you still need to burn 🔥 coal to produce the energy!! Wake up people!

Not only was/is the destruction of the electric car a total crime, most of the victims of this crime weakly allowed themselves to be brainwashed to hand hummerfuls of their money to the thieves stealing from them. Plus the gas, oil and maintenance of dirty, inefficient fuel. Preserving oil and gas also lead directly to war to protect oil. This lead to completely unnecessary loss of life. So the greedy gobblers of SUVs, mega-ton trucks and Hummers are also happily handing their money to murdering SOBs that sent their own sons and daughters to war and death.

In the end, the buying public won. We have more electric cars and hybrids than those companies could have ever dreamed of. Companies TRIED kill the electric car, but they failed in the end.

Thing is people are now aware of what the govt is trying to do that people in 2006 would have thought was out of this world. The electric companies can raise prices and place a tax or a fee on your electric bill now designated as a road tax fee. And you don't think that will be manipulated? States are already imposing fees on registration renewal for EVs, for example, WA state adds $200 to the already high registration fees. The average cost to renew vehicle registration without the EV charge in WA is approximately $500/year and then throw that EV fee on there. Plain and simple the govt will continue raising these fees and also make people more dependent on electricity to which can be shut off on you for any reason. Solar is a big joke because you have to have a southern facing roof to be able to qualify for incentives. And even then, the lease payment on panels is about $300 per month. And then the power conpany gets to regulate when you get to net meter to recharge your battery system. Its a lose lose for the consumer, but hey, if it makes you sleep better at night thinking paying all this money because you think you're helping the planet, then enjoy.

There are two science fiction shows. Both have some silly time travel involved. But it was not what they were really about(like Star Trek on social issues of the time). Timeless and Continuum. Ich war tatsächlich life dabei, und hab unabhängig von. Dieser Veranstaltung meinen Amiga 1000 bekommen (im Rahmen einer kleinen privaten Copy-Party) das waren die 80er!

Americans are so lucky that Musk started Tesla in California, can you imagine if it was in Germany or China or any other country where Musk would have started, the states would be way behind now. Even today US car markers can hardly keep up to Tesla, and GM has just retired the popular Bolt, after just a few years.

In fact, Jay Leno owns probably one of the very first electric automobiles, made by Henry Ford, for Ford's wife, back in the early 1900s, because she couldn't stand the noise and the fumes from the gas Fords... Just goes to show you how powerful, dirty and corrupt the oil industry is, and what lengths they'll go to to protect the oil and gas car industries..

Just want to point out: this interview seems very scripted and although I find this topic interesting the interview is poorly done and seems disingenuous and makes one feel uneasy about believing them outright
