Thanks for the reply. What size motor are you using? Is it the art 1700 motor? If so what size battery are you using?

Hi.I'm using 3S-1300mAh Lipo battery. I think it is the limit size for this aircraft.

I have the gasoline version. It looks like the nitro version has quite a bit more power. But nitro engines in general have much higher power to weight ratio than gasoline. I wanted gasoline cause I’m always skeptical that one or two cylinders will drop during running. So I like having an electronic ignition to lessen the chances of that from happening.

I love the Storch and would love to fly one. I used to fly Cessna 208s for a living and often operated them as if they were a Storch; that is, I'd slip them into airports, making very short approaches and landings just above the stall.

Thank you watching. Please be careful of the stall.
Nice video, the plane looks like it fly's great. I have one still in the box yet to be built. Looks a little over powered with the 40. Might try a 30 first and see how it flys.

great building and flight skills! I have a question: how are joint outer and inner wing panels? It is unclear to me if they are joint face to face or there is a little spar, poor details on the instruction manual. thanks for any answer.
@Flying1130 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. "Poor details" I think so too.That's why I contacted manufacturer. It is jointed on wooden spar(8mm×3mm×115mm×2). Make a hole and insert it.

Nice looking plane and fun to build. I Just built one and was looking for ideas on connecting the ailerons to the receiver, built i think I'll follow your idea. I was wondering what material you're using around the cockpit. I was using small diameter drip hose for watering plants painted black but it's hard to bend and it wants to deform when heated. Take care.

You've done this before, I can tell. I must have built at least a half-dozen Great Planes kits and I enjoyed them all, although the Cap 232 came to a rather abrupt (and unscheduled) end. Projects like this are so much fun. You can interpret the model any way you want. I just watched a video of a fella's Slow Poke done up in T-6 colors. Your Pete captures the flavor of 1920's aviation so well. Happy landings!
