So, I am a little confused about if linking the 2 units. It makes sense that in series they would be mono for individual tracks. What about on the 2 Buss? Did the routing configuration change? The reason I am asking is that I need a mastering parametric eq (I already have a Bax). I think I am going to get a massive passive. However I do have an Elysia Nvelope. Could I still do a 7 band eq on the 2 buss or do you have to switch to a stereo routing which brings it down to 4 bands and massage? Thank you.

How close is the Plug-In Version of this from Plug-In Alliance/Brainworx? The nvelope sounds absolute incredible but I don't really use analog outboard and the integration for DAW-Workflow is a little more complicated than just the Plug-In obviously.

Much appreciated. Rreally refreshing to see people experimenting intelligently with new creative techniques. The results being really impressive. The extremeness of the gating sounds fresh. Real drums, but hitting hard like processed sampled drum sound. So it will fit right at home in a modern production.

The only thing this is missing (and it's not just you - everyone who makes some kind of a DAW / mic input mixer) NEVER seem to put some kind of an insert for a reverb on the vocal. I really wish this had added that with a knob so the artist could mix in their own reverb until they were happy. At the moment I'm using a tiny 4 channel mixer because it has an insert on it that I can feed to a reverb and give the artist their own fader for the verb, on top of the daw feed and a mult from the mic pre. I would have rather replaced it with this but it looks like I'm still stuck with the mixer for now.

Very handy for small home studios that don’t have console or for ‘on location’ recording. Could also be handy connected to a Patchbay and used as remote ‘in room’ amps to enable an artist to balance their own mix to taste. Larger consoles and centrepiece units have this all built in but most people don’t have access to those these days.

The product is cool, the only thing missing is a meter of output and input signal, I think it's very clean, here's a suggestion, today home studios are growing, the company that produces products with this audience in mind will go far, there's a lot of product missing to interact with daws , mainly complete consoles with eq, compressor and meter to be used as a controller, intelligent audio interfaces, today we have UAD which has done a good job and Antelope but the industry needs employees like Elysia manufacturing products ahead of their time and not products like what is available on the market, but I hope that elysia continues to grow. It made history and has good equipment.

This is something I didn't think I would need but it makes total sense and now I am thinking why haven't I got one.

Prochaine machine que j'vais acheter !!! J'suis convaincu. A la base j allais partir sur le SPL Transient Designer 4 MK2, mais le Elysia à beaucoup + d'options et même la démo sur une situation en mastering ma bluffé... Elle a l'air assez tout terrain cette machine, elle sera la bien venue pour venir s'ajouter a ma chaîne de périphériques hardware. Par contre se sera la version rack 19'' plutôt que la version format 500. Merci pour cette vidéo explicative !!

gamechanger probably still largely underrated unit. It does with one button in 2 seconds what needs otherwise freaking chain of complicated processing

I tell you what - Ive seen that Elysia 500 series rack that has been floating around KZbin. Fully loaded with Elysia gear. I would go all in on a system like this, since your gear is top of the line and affordably priced. I believe you are just missing a dual mono version of the xfilter, or a similar mono console style parametric EQ. Many of us wish to simulate a console style workflow and some Elysia 500 series EQs would be a NO BRAINER for many like myself. I would easily buy ten and load up a rack in a heartbeat. An Elysia console?? yes please!
