This is something new I had a Yorkie and I don't remember that and he was a puppy then though but he died and now I have a New York and she's about 4 years old I better since the puppy and her name is ginger and she's 4 lb and I don't take her much out in the cold she goes on pee pads

You've probably seen them and thought it was a dog. Coyotes do wander through the cities. They are very opportunistic and will go after a dog, a cat or what they perceive as a vulnerable person.

I first had a Cocker Spaniel, then I got two Morkies. I have one Morkie left. I'm thinking of a yorkie for my next dog, but if I had the yard and the space in my house, I'd love to have a German Shorthaired Pointer someday. 😊

That was my first dog. She was amazing but wanted to go hunt. She never stopped trying to escape and wanted to play ball 24/7. It was exhausting so no more hunting dogs for me!

Oh good to know.😊 That might be difficult with other breeds together. I've been researching cavapoos as well. Yorkies are still top on my list. My morkie is 15. He's slowing down a little, but he'll probably live to 20 he still gets bursts of energy. 😃@Midwestyorkie

I take my morkie as many places as I can. He loves car rides. Plus it helps get him used to long car rides to go on trips.

What do you do as far as vaccines with Lulu? I know the same amount of vaccine given to a Labrador is also given to a small dog.

We just got a yorkie poo. Shes 12 weeks today. With our purebred yorkie we pad trained him, he loves it. But our yorkie poo girlie is not getting it AT ALL. She pees and poops everywhere. I even watch her after she eats. It’s like she waits until she’s OFF the pad. She also eats her poop! I’m going crazy my male yorkie was not this difficult, he got it immediately. I know she’s young but help!

Had big dogs when I was younger, now that I am edging to 69 next month. always smaller dogs. Never had a yorkie, just lost my 14 year old miniature schnauzer in February. A yorkie is tempting, though. Lulu is so cute.

Yorkiepoos are perfect as small dogs. They are highly intelligent and not nervous like yorkies can be.
