I get why our folks keep our ceremonies and knowledge protected. I wish more information was available more easily. Some of us didn’t grow up in traditional setting or families. Because our parents and grandparents left, there was no knowledge to pass down hence no connections. Some of us will never be let back in and so will never learn or know our ancestry, culture or kin.

Fun to find your videos on KZbin as I followed you live back in the day when you were actually doing it or at least as often as time allowed me to. I'm originally from Sheboygan Wisconsin which you walked through and that was fun for me because I have been living near Springfield Missouri since 2001 and don't get back to Wisconsin very often. Also was fun to see you at the submarine in Manitowoc as I was through there as a young boy with my father and several years ago my wife and I went back to visit my home town of Sheboygan and I took her up to Manitowoc and we went through the submarine and The Maritime Museum

Today I learned this is my Great Aunt Rita. I waited 20 years to know about my family history on my Grandpa Al's side, and here it is! I've also picked up her book to hopefully learn more, writing and poetry certainly runs in the family though <3

***** Flamenco is a traditional art form that propagated mostly in Andalusia (southern Spain) which was passed along from generation to generation within the Gypsy people. Now, on the other hand, Mexico is the product of the conquest and hegemony of the Spaniards (of white, European descent) over the native Mexicas (or Aztecs). I don't see the relationship between Flamenco and Mexican history.
