Most of the stuff was bought over 10years ago and some was used. Like mt10 brakes and such. I added some info to the description field.

Hello James, I am glad to see someone still adores this beast. I have a Speed triple 2006 as well. and would like to do some upgrades as well. I probably ordered those from triumph directly. Just from new model like 2010? So it has the new style rubber.

This was a very helpful video. Dirt. The following videos would also work for the same type: 1. Spark Plug Replacement. 2. Ignition coil replacement. 3. Oil change. 4. Replacement of light bulbs, front and rear. 5. Air conditioning cleaning. Possibly also: Replacement of transmission shaft encoder(s).

I have a very unusual problem. My v70 mk3 d5 2010 stalls when I'll accelerate heavily but only on 6th gear. It only appears on high speed on motorway when on top gear. If the gearbox shift down car will be fine. On 6th gear engine will stop. I have focused on fuel supply. Checked and changed common rail valve and regulator. Changed a valve in hp pump. Checked pump. Replaced one of the injectors. Problem still exists. I am thinking maybe it's over boost. I've checked all the hoses and vacuum lines. All in tact. Any help or idea would be aw

Do you know how many nm to tighten the idle and tensioner?

No. I just used reasonable hand torque. It's probably at least not over 60Nm. Probably less.?

Most gas mowers bog down on such low setting and tall grass. I think it has quite good power. For normal mowing it's perfect.

@@JamesParus you should see how sketchy my bike is in the air right now had the spindle go through my rear wheel but had to remove to remove rear wheel, jack on rear linkage with front stand and jack stands under the pegs........ Im upset abt it

I have one and I actually like it. To me its like having a knife I can chop with and not worry about messing up the edge. I only use it for small tasks though

interestingly I have the opposite condition to most others, where i have no power low down but power is fine higher up, changed the map sensor so far. think i'll give turbo intercooler outlet sensor a go.

If you have this twin turbo version, it could be issue with the smaller turbo or with the flap that changes the turbo from small to big.

Finally someone who admits this axe sucks. I liked the idea of it but it is just about useless. I would rather carry a big knife for the weight or just a slightly heavier axe.

Looks like spring corn snow. Good adjustment in your balance/position to help you get over the hump on the third attempt. We learn by doing.

What if the turbo is louder than normal? Boost leak?

If it's whistling then usually the turbo rotor has little damage from foreign object or something. I have used borescope to check it. If it's a small mark on the rotor it can still work for years. But it whistles. Could go out of balance thou. Then it will eventually fail totally

Great overview, Thank you, It helped me to know where to look to find a leak in the boost line (oil leak on it was the giveaway), which I’m sure is the culprit to the power loss every once in a while.

😅when the two pair are soldered to the bord its easy to think they are all shorted out as they are side by side. Looked like the other pair probably survived. That's why I was confused why it's not shorted out.

What is amazing that even this is from the 90s. The power amp design is very similar to new yamaha's. Like r-n800 network amp is even looking the same. It has more circuit boards for those network functions but the poweramp is the same basicly.

Riittänee. Itse latasin esim 8h viikon parin välein. Yleensä polar näytti täyttä sitten. Itsellä päivittäinen ajo oli pidempi. Laitoin sellaisen pikalataustöpselin maskista ulos niin ei tarvitse avata nokkapeltiä edes lataukseen. Lisäksi siinä oli ne ledit niin oppi näkemään koska on vajaa. Vaikka ne ledit onkin aika herkät eli webasto päällä ne on aina punaista
