What was your reaction to the production values and quality if solo levelinf season 2 excelling season 1 significantly despite presumably taking lesser time to make as the gap between the announcement of season 1 and airing of season 1 was i believe more than a year meanwhile season 2 was made within a year, possibly even less?

Manga is not a sufficient reference for animation , unless you're making a slideshow you'll need proper direction to translate manga actions and scenes into a proper moving picture .

Actually it depends on the production pace, sometimes voice acting first, or animation first. Also they already has the script even before the voice acting process, so they know what kind of mouth position to draw.
