I'm having trouble getting the gradient to work with the image. Are there any tips you could give me to help? i know this is an old video and the program is drastically different but maybe there's an alternative way to make the same effect happen?

The Repeat, you had it on X, should be on Z. This new app, has a lot of potential. You can already do a lot of stuff way faster than other professional 3D apps. And it's easier to understand and learn too.

i have a question, if i have multiple elemnts that move as effect of hovering over 1 element. is there a way to make it so the in-between empty space doesn't get counted as part of the hover button. to test this yourslef place 2 circles apart from each other. make a hover state- move one(or both) circels further away from each other and hover mouse between the 2 in play mode. i need to get rid of this effect and only make it so the left circle is the hover 'body'
