I learned that in an artwork we should be able to identify the subject based on the elements or principles that is present on it. Also, we should be able to identify what is the theme of the painting to clearly get the message of the painting. Moreover, since some artist is not explicitly emphasizing the message of their artwork they tend to use symbolism to express their message.

I learned that using balance, movement, contrast, and proportion makes the artwork have more emphasis on what the artist is trying to communicate or express.
