Do you have any videos of the sound of this y pipe?

Hey I do have a sound clip however u can't go by that sound because its muffler and the midpipe that keeps makes a difference. oem is very restricted when compared to aftermarket.

Hey man how’s it going quick question what brake pads would you recommend for a q50 red sport ??
@khrissingh_spooling4life2123 жыл бұрын
Hey bro well I have only had the Infiniti Performance pad and compared it to the Brembo Pads its much better, my other cars 🚗 I have use the Hawk and Ebc Red Stuff and they provide less dust. I have heard of Akebono ProAct is good but I never try them.

I’m about to use Amsoil for the first time despite having listened it is too expensive. Here’s what I’ve calculated for my 2021 Tacoma Pro. It takes 6.2 quarts. If I use the cheapest synthetic and filter it will cost me 31.41 per change. If I do this every 3k miles it will cost me $1,046 over 100k miles. If I use the Signature Series AND the Amsoil filter it will cost me $77.92 per change. If I do this every 5,000 miles it will cost me $1,558 over 100k miles- ONLY $513 more. If I drive 10k miles a year the Amsoil will cost me $51 more per year. I think I can handle $51 more a year EVEN IF Amsoil isn’t any better. If it is- the $51 extra each year is a bargain because it likely has saved me more than the extra $513 over the 10 year period. Obviously if I changed the interval to 15,000 miles it buys its way in BUT I wanted to show the most conservative approach. I hope this helps put things in to perspective.

I get your view but I spend the extra money because this particular oil proves to me that it can handle Turbo cars. I don't think your car came from the factory with twin turbos I believe it's just a v6. Therefore Mobile one will work fine if you don't want to spend the extra money.
@thepokerpilotapp3 жыл бұрын
@@khrissingh_spooling4life212 you are right- no turbo. The extra money isn’t my concern. Not that I don’t care about money, most certainly do, but the $20 or so extra dollars per change is worth it to me if the oil is actually better and many say it is. I used Mobil one for the longest time before changing over to royal purple. Now I’m moving on to Amsoil.

No and I am very picky when it comes to exhaust leaks, I would suggest buying gaskets like Vibrant type, the ones came with it imo is solid.

Any leaks? The Megan Y pipe has been pretty notorious for not fitting on the stock midpipe

328 awhp is about right for this dyno (prob. around 365 awhp on dynojet). What were the all wheel torque numbers on this Mustang dyno?
@khrissingh_spooling4life2126 жыл бұрын
B2012Gx yes it was.
@B2008Gx6 жыл бұрын
Khris Singh My apologies, not sure what you meant by yes it was. I know it's Mustang dyno but curious what torque numbers you put down with this dyno pull. Like the sound of Tanabe exhaust
@khrissingh_spooling4life2126 жыл бұрын
Awd mustang dyno, also I read info wrong, it's 346 ft torque and 312 Awd hp for the 1st r in. 2nd shows 328 torque and 315 hp.
@B2008Gx6 жыл бұрын
Averaging 337 awtq is better than I've seen on other awd Q60RS's on Mustang dyno. 315 awhp is still within range for that dyno. (You're prob looking at 355+ awhp and 370+ awtq on dynojet). Awd's typically show lower reading but that doesn't mean it's got less power. I believe it's still a rear wheel bias system so on the dry street it's basically rear wheel drive until the back wheels start turning faster than the front. That's why they have to use an awd Dyno because the front wheels remain still on the rollers until the back wheels start to turn. The awd system senses this and starts throwing power up to the front wheels making all four wheels turn on the rollers. There are other Q60 red sports pulling the same awhp numbers and even lower torque numbers on Mustang dyno so I think you're in good shape.

Mustang dyno = power to the road; dynojet shows power to the wheels. Thus IMO it's not far off what I would expect. Now it's time for a tune ;) She turns into a whole new beast when tuned right. Ask me how I know :)

Hey dude overall everything went well, however still having boost dropping off at that tune. I decided to hook up greddy ebc with Mac 4 port solenoid, still need to do more pulls to see if it solved the boost tapering off.
