These kind of sandwiches are all I care about. My wife & children are garbage & if anything, I have less money to enjoy myself because of them. All they do is use up my money. My dream is to find a woman with the same psychotic passion for incredible pork sandwiches that I have. Say no to kids, say yes to exceptional sandwiches. That's my life motto.

Sloppy Joes since at least the 1970s in the USA and Canada has been a saucy ground beef on a hamburger bun - or sometimes a hot dog bun. And sometimes with cheese. Never heard of this version

That's true. Two weeks ago, I craved this pizza. I took the train to Manhattan and ordered a pie to go. I held that pie on the train and bus all the way back home. I ate a slice, then froze the rest. They were delicious when microwaved. Each day I ate a slice or two till it was gone.

I think this is were my parents and I went in the 90’s when we made a trip to New Orleans. I had been dying to try the sandwich cause I was an olive nut, I loved all kinds. I fell in love with this and the other food in town. My heart was officially Cajun/French! We stopped in the little town of LaRose on the way down there cause that is our last name and our family came from France. It was the best road trip ever! Disney land had nothing on New Orleans! We went when it was not Mardi Gras so no drunken mess of tourist.

Nathans all beef jumbo is my go to. Finally ordered foil hotdog sleeves to steam them after cooking in the bun. Took a bit of experimenting to figure out the correct dogs and buns. Its absolute fire, some of the best dogs I've ever had.

Life long resident of the City of New York and the DiNic roast pork with rabe and long hots with sharp provy In Reading Terminal is my favorite sandwich in the world. Cap it off with a cannoli from Termini Bros and you cant beat it. Cheesesteaks are for tourists.

Personally, I favor using any clam chowder recipe and substituting salmon for salmon chowder. Ordinary canned salmon is economical and tastes fine. Fresh salmon is great! For a REAL treat, use smoked salmon!
