Completed the game a few days back, just as soon as it landed onto the Xbox. Had a great time with the game. I will admit that the game does have its flaws, but I still enjoy the narrative and experience of the game, nonetheless.

I had the worst experience with this. I kept forgetting to save, and every time I did save it was during moments where it would just load me back 30 minutes ago. And I kept making stupid mistakes like walking too off-angled and falling or something, or getting spotted and needing to reset. And when I finally reach a checkpoint it’s a fucking 12+ minute cutscene. It was like near midnight and I wanted to sleep yet I kept running into “no pause, have to progress before you can hop off” shit. And the forgetting to save part drove me nuts. I had to redo multiple sections of this game so many times man. Like the part where you grab the directional microphone and find Ames, and then escape. I kept forgetting to save and had to redo the entire thing. The swimming sections with Emma, kept forgetting to save and had to redo almost the entire Emma segment of the game. The part where you had to protect her with a sniper, had to redo it like 3 times cos I didn’t know the penzemantine restored and I forgot to save. Man it was driving me nuts.

Wow I tried and tried to do stealth. First time I beat the game I didn't use stealth here. But this time I was trying too for about 10 mins. Then I go search up a path and find out there's no stealth. I woulda been here for an hour trying.

I hope this gets pinned. If you're playing on Steam, there's a glitch that causes the guy in the pool to zoom into view of the guard when you kill him. If you want to get around this, tranq the guard, hide him, steal his clothes and kill the guy in the pool. Follow Center's tutorial pathway but ignore the guard outfit in the haunted area. When you get to the bodyguard in the room, you HAVE to kill him and take his clothes. This will count as a point against you but if you do everything else right you should still get silent assassin. Otherwise Centerstrain's walkthrough is perfect.
