I was there from 1965 to 1968 then assigned to Ft Benning, GA. Where I served my last 9 months before I got out of the Army, but I'll never forget Armstrong Barracks and Budingen, Germany.

Hi Folks I Can't beleive how this beautiful Village has grown since I was stationed there in 69-70 _3/12 Cav C Co They kept the red tile roofs though so the new homes still look like the older part of the city. Great work on the Movie Hennes2302

I was stationed there from 1979 till December of 82 I miss that place more than anything and now I watch this it makes me sad that it's so changed

Wow! At the 2:11 mark is where I spent my childhood. From 1981 - 91. My father kept extending and I had some of the best memories living in Germany. s

I was stationed in Büdingen in 1976 - 1978. Originally with 3/12 Air Cav, B Co the helicopter guys. We became the 503 Combat Aviation Battalion. I had one of the best Commanders Major Gerald Crews, he was awesome. He later went on to work for General Haig. I got sent to Hanau in 1978 and ETS back to the states in June 1979. Had some great times there. Lost all my pictures it was a sad time all memories gone.

Some spell it Budingen some spell it Buedening then there is Budening anybody know the correct spelling ???

It´s Buedingen (translated the German Umlaut "ü" into "ue") ;-)

Love this city. Thanks for posting. My favorite duty station In Germany. Ended the Cold War- Just to start the Gulf war. Cased 3AD colors after desert shield/Storm. Spearhead! 1989 to 1991 Served.

I was stationed at Coleman kaserne in Gelhausen 89-91 45th CSB attached to 3/8 Cavalry and they closed after Desert Storm

I was born in Buedingen but left for the USA in 64. Visited again 2 years ago. Didn't recognize anyone . You never can go home again. 🤔

Thank you for the wonderful video. I was stationed there from 1987 to 1991. Charlie Battery 3/61 ADA. Later we transitioned to Charlie Company 3/5 ADA Regiment. Capt John Breletic was our Company Commander and our First Sergeant was Richard Benfield.

Ich war ein Amerikanische soldat stationiert hier von 1986 bis 1990 und spaeter im 1991 bis 1995 ohne der US Armee sowie ein zivilist hier gewhont und hab ich etwas deutsche sprache gelernt, Buedingen hat mir totaler begeistert und ich vermisse Deutschland ganz viel.

Ich weiß noch wie ich aus dem Metzger kam mit nem Mettbrötchen und erstmal die Panzer vorbeigerollt sind am Kreisel die Soldaten waren immer sehr freundlich bei uns. MFG

Paul Burns Hi Paul, thank you for your feedback. Just flying around a lot with my drone these days. Making some nice shots from the old army kaserne in Buedingen before they´ll finalize their reconstruction of the area into a home for people seeking asylum. Think I´ve done the final artwork in 2-3 weeks - just watch out here :-)

Umm k? Good dancing:) but u girls do know it's, the BOYZ are back, not girls are back. All of ya were chicks?:) hehe. And just saying though, girl with the braids and the inky one wearing a frikin dress, practice sweetie bcuz u were the only girl who didnt know what the heck u were doin out there. Sorry but it shows. Otherwise, dance wise it was purty cool I guess
