You talk the way I feel, I'm just starting out, haven't as yet have any products out on the market but I have many prototypes in different Industries, I wanted to put the best out there but the best for me isn't the best for everyone else, I'll follow you and I wish you all the best.

Thank you for a wonderful video and recipe. I really appreciate you sharing your entire process. I was hesitant to make shower steamers because all the recipes had carrier oils or butters 😱😱. I thought of them more as shower sliders than steamers 😂😂. Thanks again.

Haha I always think it’s confusing when there’s oils and butters too! Glad you liked the video 😊 thanks for watching!

Thank you for this video! Making some as Christmas gifts since money is tight this year and I have all the ingredients already! Can’t wait! One question, when you say 1oz of essential oil, is that liquid oz or weighed on the scale?
@hellobushylКүн бұрын
Weighed on the scale!!

hi thank you for sharing. do u ever use Menthol crystals in your shower steamer ? can you let me know what your reasoning is for or against. thank you 🙂
@hellobushyl4 күн бұрын
I don't because I find menthol too intense, personally, but I know a lot of people really like that addition so I think it's just a matter of personal preference!

I just started my 3rd year. My sales this year are much better than they have been in the past and I am loving more & more. I too have added more products and am up to about 36 different scents of soap. But it is hard work. I did jump right in with both feet and get a retail space and after 1 year closed it down. It was too much too soon. I am much happier now with popups.

Great video. With the seasonal soaps, you have the data on how much seasonal soap you did sell. What if you made just a little less and when they run out, they run out. "Uh-Oh, we missed you! We will have more for you next season💜"

Great tutorial! Can you use fragrance oil in these? I have SO many! 💜
@hellobushyl14 күн бұрын
Absolutely! I’ve made small batches with seasonal fragrances and just used 1 oz of FO instead of the essential oils

I am 67 years old and I have picked up making soap again where I left off in 2017. I love making them but I am not very good at marketing or selling them. You have just given me the motivation to start again and I thank you for that.

I made these steamers but may have used too much essential oil. I weighed everything, is it 1oz of essential oil literally by weight, or 1 fl oz of essential oil by volume ?
@hellobushyl20 күн бұрын
The oz are in reference to weight! Good luck with the next batch 😊

Please do a packing video! I'm just starting with my products. So far I'm offering Cleansing and Blessing Sprays and and in the process of figuring the bath salts. I'd love to eventually ship but so far I've kept it super local!!! Thank you soooo!❤🎉

I have binge watching your videos hahahah It's 2am and have no business being up bahaha😅 I do want to say that you are super relatable and so excited that you were able to ✔️ those goals!!! I have also found that social media absolutely is too much for me to keep up with, the way others want us to. I decided I'm just doing me, and so far it's been a slow growth...but growth non the less!!❤❤❤ Keep up the good work! Big hugs from Texas!

I’ve tried your recipe many times and I just can’t get it right. The tops of the steamer ( what goes in the mold first) dries hard but the bottom are crumbly. Any idea ?

What do you do with them after they are on the baking sheet? Just let them air dry for... however long? or bake them at whatever temp for whatever time?

I am trying to make candles with the family on thanksgiving. We have over 6 teens coming, what can I use to replace the metal wax melting cup when I distribute wax to each person so they can make their own candle with oil of choice? Thank you
@hellobushyl29 күн бұрын
If you’re using soy wax, you could basically use any heat-safe container that’s easy to pour out of. Soy wax is water soluble so it should be fairly easy to clean out of whatever you use, but you could even use disposable to-go coffee cups if you want less cleanup.

It’s my first time making shower steamers and these are great! Thank you 😊 I am wondering, is there something I can add to make the steamer break down slower? It disintegrated almost immediately (maybe that’s normal, I don’t know). Would increasing corn starch help?
@hellobushylАй бұрын
I would say your best bet is just to move it out of the direct steam of water and allow more of the off-spray to activate it - that should slow it down!

Hi @hellobushyl can you please tell me how mant tbls of witch hazel please? Can i use alcohol? Many thanks ❤
@hellobushylАй бұрын
I use a “cap full” so I would guess 1 tablespoon? Alcohol is an option but I’ve tried it before and didn’t like it as much because it doesn’t partially activate the mixture. Instead I’d try a tablespoon of water first!

This is so awesome. Pls help. Quick question: my shower steamers started having white spots and bubbles on top and do not look polished, but ruff, I also added clay. DO I just put too much witch hazel and that's why they are like this?
@---do3wvАй бұрын
Why do you use clay? I assume that is what's causing the spots and bubbles as it perhaps retains moisture?
