@@johnreilly9748 I need to explore the Black Canyon more, but that will be probably next year. I fished above the Rio Grande reservoir this past weekend and around Lake City. Fishing was tough and I didn’t catch as many as I was hoping, was looking for big browns.

Really nice fish!....but not 18-20".....more like 15, I would say. remarkable catch from such a smaller stream!

@@curbozerboomer1773 yeah, you might be right about it not being a 20” fish, but I’m sure it was well over 15. It could have been 17-18 inches though. Either way it was a solid fish for a small creek. Thanks for watching!

Enjoyed your videos! I've always wanted to fish the Gunnison. I've fished the San Miguel several times while visiting the Telluride area. I'm 75 years old and started fly fishing at 13. I live in the Branson ,Missouri area on the White River corridor. In recent years I have experienced an increase in the lack of "stream etiquette". You did right by moving when those two inconsiderate guys cut in front of you.

I've caught giant Lahontans out of Pyramid, fished at blue ribbon fishers like Lee's Ferry and the San Juan, surf fished for Corbina. But there's just something special about these little Southern California creeks that keep us coming back.

@@glenndotter5065 there are a couple reasons I wear that face shield/multi wrap. It’s to keep the sun off my face and for anonymity. I post videos on here and post other stuff on my IG. I don’t do it to get special treatment etc. I may have an “unmasking the Ghillie Guy” when I surpass 2k subscribers, but I’ll keep up with the same persona regardless.
