Hey guys. Thanks for this video and the one before, they've been very helpful. I'm considering doing the GGW myself next year. Just one question: where's part three of your journey? 😅

Best view ever. Two glens for one. I believe the tricky bit on the Glen Sannox side is called the Chimney.

Hi Guys, loved the second part as much as the first. Your hike brings back so many memories of our family boating holiday a few years back now that took us up and down the Great Glen and Caledonian canal from Inverness to Banvie and back. I would highly recommend doing it if you fancy something a little different. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Cheers Dave

Hi Dave, thank you again for your kind words! I always get a huge sense of nostalgia when I come to editing these videos - especially when it's been a wee while since the hike! I can imagine this trail is so beautiful when your perspective is from the water - its absolutely something we will do in the future!

Lovely scenery, great videography 👍 +6:12 a glimpse of what the natural habitat should look like, if it weren't for centuries of over grazing by sheep & deer 🌿🌱

Such a beautiful time to walk, as summer bursts into existence, and the midges have not awoken from their long sleep to start to enjoy the international cuisine the tourists present to them. 😂👍

how were the midgies ????

We didn't encounter a single one! April/May and September are pretty good times to avoid them from our experience!

Hi guys, I’ve just come across your channel and subscribed. We had a our family holiday a few years ago now cruising the Caledonian Canal from Inverness to Banavie and back again so your vide brings back some very fond memories. Thanks for sharing your adventure and looking forward to the next part. Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave, thank you for the kind words! It's such a lovely trail - I think we would want to go via the water next time, perhaps kayak or boat!

Amazing footage. Lovely video. The saddle actually has a deep gully with a scramble path all the way down it. Its an underestimated route on Arran as people generally think because your not climbing the tops it will be en easy stroll. You show Arran at its best on your video. Lovely Steven.

Another good video guys. How do you like the Lanshan 2 Pro? Atb Glenn
@frevainthewild75773 жыл бұрын
Hey Glenn, we really like the Lanshan 2 Pro! If you're already planning to take hiking poles then it really is incredibly space and weight efficient. We've not had to pitch it in heavy wind or rain yet so can't comment on that, but as a general use (maybe not summit camp) tent, it is fantastic!
