Check engine will always pop up unless you get a proper tune. You can clear the code with Jb4 every time it pops up but it won’t keep it from happening.

BMW can definably detect piggybacks even if you remove them and will definitely decline your warranty claim if its related to.

I like JB+ more than JB4, I want to get in my car and drive without needing to worry about an app and making sure my piggyback is turned on.

App is for adjustment. Jb4 is plugged into sensors. It’s always on unless disconnected.

@@g20_azSo for you I would recommend jb+. The main benefit to jb4 is that you can make custom maps for max power but ofc u need better fuel and bolt ons for that. Jb+ uses a dial to change psi boost and slightly outpeforms Jb4 map 2. The default jb+ dial equates to map 1 jb4. You wont need any bolt ons for jb4 map 1 and 2 and any setting of jb+ with 93 gas but with 91 u might be only able to use map 1 efficiently on jb4. At the end of the day, i think jb+ is better for u and also read forums on this topic for more info

Broke rule #1 when cleaning wheels. Cleaned them in direct sunlight and let the solution dry. Got distracted while cleaning the car and when I got back, it was to late 😩

Jb4 activates pops and bangs depending on which map your running and xhp has a toggle switch for shifting blips.

Hey there nice video! Just got my JB4 installed in my 22' M340i and to me, what AFR are you running during WOT?! E30 mix with Burger cold air and AWE exhaust my AFR was 14:1 to me seems way too lean to boosted. Any idea on this or is this normal for Direct Injection engine.. what AFR during your pulls were you running?!

Thanks! I get around the same values, maybe a bit lower running 93 on map 6. JB4 can’t read e values unless your running an ethanol sensor and white wire to the jb4 so values may not be true running E. Run a log and send it to jb4. Email and instructions are on the webpage. They’ll help out a lot.

@@justj3rry thank you replying back to this. I sent a log to JB4 in 3rd gear wot and they said it's normal. I can't see how 14.1 AFR on a boosted motor is normal! I can try running map 6 with 93 octane like you said see how it does
