As a person who has recently given his life to Christ and started reading the word I can say it’s really tough knowing who you can trust preaching the gospel. I thought MacArthur had some pretty good takes on the scripture. Obviously I’m interested in knowing more about him if I’m gonna watch his sermons. By your fruit you shall know them (fruit of the spirit not fruit as in number). This was not done in a godly manner. Take the plank out of your own eye comes to mind. Is it because you haven't read and biblical prophecy besides John Darby's cherry picked verses taken out of context? Let no man deceive you by any means for that day shall not come except there be a falling away first and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. - 2 Thessalonians 2:3... There is not a single verse that places a rapture event before the tribulation. Second coming is always singular in scripture and therefore there is one, not two. Also, the church of the first century was being hunted down and fed to lions so such a doctrine would have been a pretty hard sell.
