I mean even wild wolves are skittish of humans and will run away rather then attacking these ones seem socialized as well to be calm when humans are near so unless someone does something stupid it’s safe

I was asking myself the same thing, wolves are not supposed to approach humans, and even less to greet or get petted. My guess is that they had some kind of socialization with humans since they were born.

Like the male lion Christian who was raised by humans and released to the wild had got family who were atleast wild lions who seem like they already trust and were friendly to Christian's humans.

Pretty hot for the season, think it was about -5C (23F). The hot weather made them less active but we got to enjoy that they took a little nap next to us, very peaceful to sit in the middle of a flock of sleeping wolves.
