Dropping it before the latter half of entertainment district arc is INSANITY, considering not only does it have some of the best animation in the industry it's also widely regarded as the best or 2nd best arc of the show lol. I wouldn't really call the transformation weird since we already have lots of scenes of demons shifting to appear younger or older (Muzan for example.) Tengen having 3 wives is just funny cause of how it fits both his character arc and personality.

roger didn't get captured he turned himself in because he was sick and going to die anyway so by doing that and saying those words he inpired the new whole era of pirates everyone wants to find the one piece. roger was probably the strongest in his era and with his haki abilities ( superpower) i beleive he could knock down everybody there without moving wich makes his death more badass cz he chose that to inspire the new generation. and that's why he said i'm not gunna die partner before he turned himself in mainly because you're dead when you're forgetten. edit: buggy and shanks was kids on roger 'ship so they travellled with him and beleive it or not shanks and buggy were childhood friends and yeah the hat is roger's hat he gave it to shanks and shanks passed it to luffy beleiving he will be like roger when he grows up ace is roger's son but since he died he gave his son to garp (luffy grandpa)to raise him so ace and luffy were raised together and they re brothers so ace is luffy non biological brother and roger's biological son and he is a great pirate with the whitebeard crew
