Thank you for a fantastic tutorial. Please may you tell me how long that insecticide-infused cotton ball lasts? Do I change it weekly or fortlightly? Thank you.

Been looking for a video like this. With proper explanation and demonstration not like the others that only say to cut this cut that like they are talking to experts.

LOL , my tree is almost as big as the mature trees , 10 m tall , not a lot of fruit . Not a fan of insecticides and stuff . I need to do major surgery over the next 4 years, soon have some flowers , need chainsaw :-) Was small when I moved in , 31 years ago :-) I just have one tree , in competion with a bigger avo tree ! get plenty avos , no mangoes , would like a few , more than I can use , give away or raffle :-) Rust is an issue on my tree . With tall trees , getting the 'fruit' down safe is an issue . The top stuff is out of reach , using a 4 m pool leaf catcher . Not of the age to be just climbing trees . Might make a deck at the base . Cut back over the mango . Be nice to see it thrive :-)

Question, can the pruned branches be propagated to create new trees? Or is it easier to start from seed? I'm not really talking about speeding up the process! All in good time, I know! But also branches can grow roots! Thank you so very much!
@qugnf5j4 ай бұрын
Some pruned branches can be used as scion if you want to propagate by grafting

Hello, thank you for the knowledge! My mango tree has two main branches, one branch (or trunk) doesn't really produce fruit and therefore I think it has to go! The second trunk has 4 branches coming out perfectly, and I think I will top it off above leaving only one trunk with 4 branches! I hope this works! The tree is about 25 feet tall, the branches I will leave are 10 feet above ground now. This will expose branches for best light conditions! Wish me luck! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!
