I live in NYC but was in Brussels for work in the early 2000's and didn't realize my trip coincided with Ommegang. Colleagues from our Belgian office told me where to meet them that evening, out on the Grand Plaza where it was still light at 8 pm. They had grabbed a table and ordered copious Belgian ales, and by the time Ommegang began I was ready to think I had been transported back in time to the middle ages. Words cannot describe the scale of the pageantry and spectacle. I hope to return one day and experience it again.

Bruxelles les bains le long du canal ? Vous empêchez les péniches de passer durant la période estivale ? Le canal de Bruxelles est une voie maritime industrielle avec plusieurs péniches y passant tous les jours et que pour certains transports c est le moyen le+sûr et moins d embouteillages dans les villes même si tout le monde sait qu il faut toujours des camions pour ravitailler des commerçants,... En tout cas, la baignade doit être interdite dans les canaux comme dans la Meuse, l Escaut,...

Abdel j'ai aimer ta vidéo sur Bruxelles, mais tu a fait une erreur en belgique on parles 2 langues et 1 patois pour moi, les langues c'est le francais et l'allemand et le patois c'est le flamand, car le néerlandais se parle au pays-bas, avec la crise du covid-19 pour les cafés, bar et taverne tu a dit qu'il y avais 1251, après le covid-19 tu enleve un minimum de 500 café, bar et taverne en moins, pour les restaurant tu as dit qu'il y en avait 4410, donc après le covid-19 il y en aura plus que 3410 restaurant maximum, car après la crise du covid-19 il y aura beaucoup de faillite et beaucoup de famille très pauvre, qui ne seront pas joindre les deux bouts chaque fin de mois, il y aura beaucoup de suicide aussi, donc après le covid-19 la belgique ne sera plus du tout comme en 2019 malheureusement, cordialement daniel

My aunt took a trip to Brussels after seeing the #callbrussels video she arrived 22 March 2016 and was killed in a terror attack. For the memory of my aunt please remove the #callbrussels video. For the love of God, the first line of the video is somebody asking about bombs and guns.
