How did this play out did you grab the license plate and report it to insurance?

I actually didn’t get the license but I should have. I called insurance and they told me it’s almost impossible to get trucking companies to own up to that stuff anyways. But it wasn’t reported as a self inflicted accident and they originally wanted me to take it to a shop to get oem parts replaced but after talking to the agent he said I can just get a check covering the costs.

I just step on the clutch and rev it to about 5k rpm’s and it will pop. Seems to happen easiest when I’m in 2nd or 3rd gear. Sadly I only have a WRX tho just with an STI wing

You can make any turbo engine pop just change the down pipe or j pipe with a high flow cat. Hell my wife’s Explorer st pops like that every time it downshifts(3in dual turbo back exhaust)
