I saw there were some recalls, one on steering and one on tire sensors. Did you know about them and if so, did you ask dealership about it?

The drivers seat is not comfortable after long rides as older models. Has anyone experienced that? Can something be done about the lack of a engine temperature gauge?

I got sport L hybrid mirror works every way, and if there is a button to do it means it should be working, there must be some prob, but yes i think mirror doesnt go automatic down for revers, like pilot exl does
@julietaf.aceytuno8556Ай бұрын
It is 100% genuine leather. It seems like you were trying so hard to find flaws. The mirrors work four ways, and the wiper blades aren't supposed to be raised that way. You didn't say anything critical in terms of performance. By the way, the starter is not involved with the Auto Idle Stop; that feature just makes the engine stop, not turn off completely, and the battery works to stop the engine.

I don't like stopping engines, but i have never change a Honda starter. Not even on my 2015 crv ex-l that is a taxi, starting the engine 100 times a day.

I own the 2025 Sport L. I dont like that there is not a compass always on display. If you need the compass, it will completely take over your head unit or cluster. Also, there is no way to attach air freshener vent clips becauseof the honeycomp dash. Theres also no way to lock or unlock the vehicle from the outside while it's running. You have to tell the passenger to lock it when you get out or knock on the window to be let back in.

I have a 2025 CRV sport. The mirrors move 4 directions. On mine, there's a L/R switch above the toggle switch that must be engaged to move the mirrors at all. What bothers me A LOT about the wipers is the way the fluid is dispensed. It's on the middle of the wiper blade arm as opposed to below them on the car itself where they are on my 2018. It makes the fluid almost useless. I don't understand why they changed it.
@BIGROG3 ай бұрын
I see your point and this is new to me. But, when using my windshield washer fluid, I thought it was strange the way the fluid came out right with the wipers. Usually, from what I've witness, the fluid spray right at the windshield. I guess it's something new with Honda.

I bought a new car about 8 months ago, a new used car, to be precise. I was considering getting a new-new one for the first time, but everyone I know called me nuts and dumb and told me it makes no sense to buy a new car and eat the initial depreciation. I caved in and went with a used one again, but not only out of peer pressure. Being someone who has always driven old clunkers before, even though I could have afforded something better, I just hate the thought of how I would feel if I scratched, dinged or curbed a totally new car. I dare say I'm a decent driver and never had a serious accident and only 2 fender-benders in 28 years of driving, which both were not my fault, but where I live roads are narrow and crammed full of parking cars and they often put large rocks on parking lots to prevent people from taking a turn too tightly and driving over lawn and so on. Lots of opportunity to bang up a car, even if you drive slowly and carefully like a old granny. Not trying to rain on your parade or scare you though. It is a nice car and I bet it must be a nice feeling driving it. With the exception of the paint the issues seem to be relatively minor. I assume you can switch off the automatic start and stop thing? My "new" car was a huge leap in technology and gimmicks for me. I went from a 12 year old "Smart ForFour", on which the most high-tech thing was that the windshield wipers would activate on their own, to one that has basically all the do-dads common now, with the exception of a 360 degree camera. Including adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, voice controls, lane keeping assistant and automatic alarm braking. I haven't even used most of those toys yet, after driving the thing for almost 3/4 of a year. After just having paid 300 bucks to have the AC refilled with cooling liquid, I'm starting to get worried about the first things failing and having to be repaired.
@BIGROG3 ай бұрын
Wow, very interesting. As for the paint under the hood, yes, it appears normal based on Honda of America closing my case stating this is normal, however, the Honda dealership surcharge me $455 for the Premium Color. Not to mention, the possible rust/corrosion that could occur based on environment. As for your question, yes, there is a switch off button. However, it's a muscle memory I have to train myself to remember to push the button. It can be annoying at time. Nevertheless, I found a solution in installing the wire to automatically turn off the auto start switch. NCDS is the next step for the paint under the hood. Will see what happens.

You were going way too fast especially cutting in front of that older lady at the beginning. You seemed in a hurry. But I did see some guy just staring at his phone blocking the path. That’s not polite either. Some people walked it like they were at a playground. Like that young girl running past you. Definitely a tourist.
