Much easier to get in and out of the car, don’t have to find lifting spots first thing and ramps are a place to put your tools and parts etc not to mention a superior way to store a car. The two posts are kind of sketchy . Thanks for the video peace on Earth in Ocean

I'm looking at this same blade. It's made by Tarter. $500 as Tarter in black, labeled for Tracter Supply in yellow now $600. I'm wondering if I'd be better with a blade that can titt to cut a ditch and also swing out to one side or another to push snow or gravel out beyond the tractor tire on one side. I can get one that does both for $580 @ Agri Supply here in North Carolina. Your thoughts? Lee in Wilson, NC

Hi David, I also have an advantage 4 post xlt9000. When I have a car on the lift, I noticed the treadplate that is supporting the tire patch has about an 1/8 inch flex. I put a straightedge on the underside of the ramp below the tire patch, and the treadplate is concaved slightly below the tire patch. Can you check your ramps and let me know if yours are the same way? I have contacted advantage and waiting for a response. Thank you

Shawn, I don’t have that on mine. I do see that the runway has a slight curve to them when loaded with a car. If you sight across the length of the runways on the top side you can see it front to back. I would believe this is the way it should be so as not to crack. It’s sort of the same principle as flex in a bridge. If if didn’t give it would break. Let me know what answer you receive from them please.

I have only had one leak on this at the power beyond fitting I replaced the fittings and all is well. The mower deck 54" I just replaced the output shaft and pulley. The keyway sheared in half and left the pulley loose on the shaft which in turn took out the shaft. So in 9 years of ownership no to bad!

It take about 10 min to bring it up to 70 degrees. It will run again in a couple of hours for about 5 min. It would depend on your insulation. What size propane tank are you running for the heater?
@darrindunn54732 жыл бұрын
Thanks David. I'm going to install the same heater only 30,000 btu/hour as it was given to me new. My shop is actually a pole barn with open trusses but my work space is roughly 350 square feet, however, I do want to heat the whole shop as I have paints and the like as well as a loft with food storage. I'm pretty sure this heater will do it as I'm insulating the walls with high density commercial insulation, also and covering with 1/2 inch plywood, also given to me. I will most likely insulate the roof as well. Thank you for the video, it was very informative. What I really wanted to know is the size of your propane tank, which you answered. I was already leaning toward the 100 pound as I don't want to get propane every month and I'm only going to be running the heater about 5 months out of the year or so. Take care and God bless. Eddie, I believe it was the GP9 if memory serves me correct. The lift was packed in a steel frame work that you would need to unbolt the runways. The only scratches was on the bottom of the lift plates that ended up on the floor anyway. The only other scratches was around the bolt holes that would attach it to the floor if you do so. All in all I was very pleased with the packaging. Yes this lift is made over seas. And again what lifts aren’t anymore. BENDPAK is imported also. Thank you for watching and the comments. @davekwd124 жыл бұрын
Trevor, On the inside half of the thimble I took some of the OSB for the walls and cut out a hole to fit the diameter of the round part of the thimble. Cut a hole on the outside wall and siding just a hair bigger than the diameter of the thimble. Slide outside half of the thimble thru from outside into the inside half and attach with a couple self tapping screws on the two half’s. Attach the inner thimble face to the wall OSB with a couple of wood screws with washers. Use OSI sealer for an adhesive / caulk on the exterior to match the siding. Thanks for the positive comment. Hope this helps. Check over your install instructions carefully to avoid any fire hazards. This will be the 2nd winter and couldn’t be happier with the unit.
