It was yesterday, so you should have been looking yesterday to see it "live", makes sense? The organizers posted a three hour livestream. Next year you could do some advance research and watch it live and not bother the creators who went to the trouble of attending/editing/posting this type of footage about how you wish it was live. It's kind of on you to find the live version.

@@modtomodern I don't think there was full coverage by any of the local TV networks, probably just a couple minutes afterwards on the evening news. Next year monitor the organizer's website to see how coverage happens, maybe the coverage will improve for your grama. Hong Kong and Singapore tend to have live or slightly delayed cable network coverage so they can be fun to watch, but not local.

The showtimes for the Nutcracker On Ice are 6:30pm and 8:45pm inside the Pacific Coliseum. I suggest that you come there at least 30 minutes before the showtime to get a better seats. There is also MAGIC OF SANTA show on the same venue, showtimes are 5pm and 7:30pm. At least you will spend 3 hours or more to enjoy all the lights displays, shows, food trucks, the Market, the holiday train ride, and the ferris wheel. Plus Ice skating, ice bumper cars.
