Yes! Create means created from nothing and the word made means made from something already existing. This gave me a whole different view of Genesis 1. This earth is old and the bible talks about a time before this creation we live in.

Maybe you should have read Matthew 24 & Mark 13 because Jesus gave a very precise chronological order of events that shall come to pass before His coming & a rapture certainty isnt included. Also if you have any working knowledge of the original languages you would know the word air has nothing to do with the atmosphere. How do explain why God's elect are here on earth during the tribulation. Jesus comes at the 7th trumpet no 6.5 trumpet. Paul clearly explains in 2 Thessalonians ch 2 that the antichrist "Satan " will come 1st before Christ comes back. Jesus says we should make a stand against the antichrist not fly away. The tribulation is simply the deception of Satan. Brother your being held double accountable for what you're teaching. What you are teaching is leading people right into this deception. Jesus shortened the time of the tribulation once again for the elects sake. . Again I ask why would everyone else be raptured away & God's elect are left? Wouldn't you think they are part of the church? I pray you rethink this fairly new false doctrine in which if you look up its orgins was not spoken or written about until after the 1830's. There are several views on this passage. The one taught here is the least taught. When you factor in scholars learned in A.N.E. literature and those well taught in Hebrew this view is just wrong. Rules of language matter. This view is incorrect in proper literal Hebrew construct. He may have only read a couple commentaries that agreed amongst themselves. Like C. I. Scoffield and those like him. It is a later view. One trying to accomodate modern old earth views. Further study should be done. John Walton is outstanding. John Sailhammer as well. Ok and continuing on this trajectory of thought, we might assume that since in Genesis 3 God curses the serpent to slither on it’s belly, that at a previous point in time, it might have walked like a human. So based on that, we could then speculate that maybe that pre-Adam world was populated by a sentient, bipedal, Reptilian race that was led by Lucifer. That would make for a great sci-fi novel or movie. It’s Land of the Lost, with the Sleestack and dinosaurs with Lucifer as king of that world. 😂
