I hate my spypoint. Hell of a long steep walk to it and it quit. New batteries and quit after a week. Spypoint said I need to go to the camera and reboot it. My last spypoint.

3 of 4 new Flex S cameras not working. All being solar, the one that is working doesn't have back-up batteries in it. The other 3 cameras took pics in the field at initial placement, so, we thought great and moved along. Now they sit in "processing mode" in the app with no pics transmitting. They are 4 hours away so it'll be 2 weeks before we get back up there again. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I’m extremely unhappy with my recent purchase. The label was not clear about the need for batteries and a "2 to 512 GB class ultra-high speed microSD card." Additionally, the fine print was filled with misinformation and wrong wording about the sd card that made no sense, leaving me even more frustrated. This feels discriminatory and deliberately confusing, making it hard for the average customer to understand what they’re buying. When getting home to secretly set it up as a surprise I had to go out and buy batteries and hunt down an SD card. To give you an idea, here is a breakdown of my spending so far: Bass Pro Shop. Katy TX SPYPOINT FLEX-S 8/31/2024 $162.35 Tractor Supply. Columbus TX LIT-22 Lithuim Battery Twin Pack 9/1/2024 $85.39 Amazon SanDisk 512GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card 9/1/2024 $42.20 I’m seriously considering returning all of the equipment I purchased. The unclear labeling, coupled with the confusing fine print, has caused significant frustration. This purchase has become far more complicated and costly than I anticipated, and frankly, it’s unacceptable. I haven’t even activated the unit yet because I’m still waiting on the microSD card I had to order separately from Amazon. The additional expenses and delays are beyond what I expected when making this purchase. I wonder what kind of review this will get if overlooked?

I seen a video that went threw alot of universitys tested humic acid on turf grass and fescu and it showed very little benefits, im getting alot of mixed reviews on this product!? Have you seen any of these studies?if anything it helped with not having to apply as much nitrogen, so im not sure what the benefits really were!

You will have to download the firmware from the Spypoint website based on what rev. You camera is.. unzip that file and copy all files (Link Micro LTE is 7 files) to the SD card.. place back into the camera and power on. It will go through a firmware upgrade and should start sending pictures in minutes. This video does not mention this portion but it is in step form on the website.

the problem i had was that i mounted it too low. it was about 1.5 feet off the ground on a tree and slightly angled and the sensor wasn't picking up anything where i really wanted it

@@Spypoint not sure what's not working. I've tried reformatting the SD card adapter 3 different times. Each time it says it's working fine and has no issues. Once I plug it into my spy point camera, it says "please format the SD card". So I go to settings and hit format. After it says formatted I turn the camera on, wait 5 minutes and walk past it multiple times and it still doesn't send me the photo. My signal strength on the cell link shows full bars before turning off the lights so I know that isn't the issue.

I don't recommend these nutjob cameras at all! They're too unstable. You have to hike through rough, rocky, snake-infested, hot as hell Texas heat to set the cam up, then turn around and do the same miserable trip back to civilization all for the camera to either not take ANY photos at all, or....what Spypoint cams love to do the most: take one or two captures, then nothing ever again. Their technology should be much better than that considering the cost of these cameras.

To set up your camera, first check the signal level to ensure it’s strong, then perform a wall test to confirm the camera captures and transfers photos to the app. Once you’ve verified these steps, place the camera 1 meter above the ground and perpendicular to the ground, turn it on, and it will be ready to go. You're welcome, Korol! Also thank you for your suggestion. Regarding the location of the photos, the GPS coordinates are not saved in the metadata. In the app gallery, when you click on a photo taken by a FLEX series model, you'll see "location & camera" with the camera name that captured that photo or video. However, the specific GPS coordinates do not appear there. Once you identify the camera model that took the picture, you can view its coordinates in the camera status section.

Man, I getting frustrated. I have a Spypoint camera. Everything works but I can not get it to show send pictures. It has worked for 3 years. I have done EVERYTHING suggested and also talked to support. So I deleted it our of the app and now I can't even see it to add it back. I got NO communication so how do I add it back? It's like it Never talked to the server anymore. Do I need a New SIM card? I found it on the camera while trying to fix this dang camera.

The app on my phone shows an Ad for..... wait for it.... "a Spypoint camera!!!"... (which I already own) (now I wish I didn't) every time I go to look at my photos on my PAID subscription. Also support near zero even for paid accounts. Pick another camera!

I have two and they are not good. The one had a few problems and the gps showed it an hour from were it was and in Africa. They replaced that one but still not working 100% and doesn't charge at all even tho its on the edgeof a farm feild and gets light all day. The other one lost signal and died two weeks ago. I just put the replacement camera up and it was good for an hour well I was driving home. It then sent 40 pics of nothing and is unresponsive. The cameras are about 2 hour drive one way and I have spent more in gas driving back and forth every weekend for almost two months then the camera originally costs. Unfortunately they can't help you with any problems unless your at the camera.

@@Spypoint I sent a PM shortly after this message and added my email. Still haven't heard anything. I had to drive the 4 hour trip again last weekend for more troubleshooting and needed a replacement for the replacement camera as the lighting and color was messed up in the pics. The other Flex_s still doesn't charge and the GPS still thinks its in two places. I was told you guys did something to it on Saturday and to give it 24 hours and it should be good. I called in today as I was busy and they want me to drive back again. As I did the warranty proses thinking they would fix the problems I cant return the cameras and a supervisor wont get on the phone. I just want two working cameras with no problems that i paid for. its a joke!

Hello Martin, to disable the transmission of your camera, you will need to go on your app and switch off the cellular option, if you are facing any issues with your camera signal kindly try the following recommendations: Check if the antenna is screwed properly. Turn the camera OFF, move around, and turn it back ON. Avoid valleys and bottoms. Find a sparse area, and avoid areas with dense foliage. Avoid large metal/concrete buildings. Photos are taken with nothing on them except grass and shadows - they are then counted as delivered and of course the 100 available are quickly gone for nothing. Rip-off!! ☹️☹️☹️

Hi! We'd like to help you with the camera issue. If the camera has a false trigger issue, it could be because of a bad installation. Sun rays moving on the ground may cause false triggers. When the sun reflects on surfaces or some objects (grass, branches, leaves, windows, cars), it might trigger the camera if it’s in the detection zone because of the heat motion or if there is something on the Fresnel Lens (motion detector). I would suggest trying to change the camera orientation. If issues still persist, please send us a private message so we can investigate further.

Hello, we acknowledge your point of view and suggestions regarding the HD photos and videos. Originally, all photos taken by our cameras were in HD quality, and those were saved on the SD card. Before the camera transmits it to the Spypoint app, it will be converted to lower quality for faster transmission and won't occupy too much space on your SD card. HD video and HD photo plans are optional; if you don't want to pay for these plans, you can view those HD-quality photos by inserting the SD card into the computer. Hello. That's all well and good, but - no live view possible. HD videos and photos should definitely be available from the app and free of charge. And not just when you put the card in the PC. That's cumbersome, impractical and medieval. All the others offer free photos and videos and unlimited. 100 free SD photos are used up in 3 days if I only get photos of grass and shadows. Of the 15 photos sent to me in two days, there were no animals in them - just grass and shadows. What a shame about the money I've spent so far. For the camera and the subscription and the HD photos. 😔😔😔

The fact that you have to pay for HD photos and videos is a complete rip-off! ☹️ Shame on you. Other camera manufacturers make much better cameras and 24 MP photos and 4k videos are free. Your cameras don't even have a live view to check whether the chosen location is good. An update with free HD photos and videos is absolutely necessary here - otherwise customers will gradually jump ship and switch to the competition.
