I ran 100 ccs there and my 250 super karts. The O'Dea is to pass other karts not get passed?
@MC91B9 ай бұрын
Yep, it is. But, as you saw, my engine was not in the best shape and I stuck it. It was rebuilt and I am assured it will be better and faster. Here’s to doing some passing this year!🥤

Thanks for this. Reminds me of my 1st year learning curve in enduro karts, also with a Hartman. Lovely video, proves you don't have to be the fastest on track, you still had a ton o' fun. If you're not having fun, why bother??

Thanks, Dan! Very much appreciated! I had a 40 year hiatus from my Dad's last race to my first ever race in 2013 with his kart (1968-ish Red Devil Dual running one Mac91B) we refurbished just before he passed in 2012. He'd say he ran the slowest engine in the heaviest class ... BECAUSE IT'S FUN! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Good fan film. I get that it’s short. Is there an 8mm source of this still around in the vaults somewhere privately to scan this in Native 4K 16/18fps and posted again for its 45th anniversary? Would be like seeing the film for the first time in a long time.

hello i own 9 mcculloch engines 2 mc-92 2 mc91b 2 mc-9 and 3 mc91a engines , founding member of VKA #24 , the main bearing on the flywhell side starts to spin in its bore on the 91a engines that i have run ,they had the interfearance fit , i install them as you did in the video heat side cover and put crank & bearing in frzzer YET after a bit of runnin the bearing spins in its bore and wears the sidecover , i been told green locktite will hold it ? i have put a allen head set screw in one of the side covers , the set screw is holding so far , i ground a flat spot on the bearing for the set screw to hold the bearing , i think the side cover bosses have become egg shaped over the many years of use ? the mc-92's i have are much newer less time on them and do not have any problems with them , any ideas on my problem? i was thinking of puting a steal sleave in the side cover to renew the boss where the roller bearing goes / IT MAY HOLD ITS SHAPE longer thanks david

8:16 Did it ever occur to you that the differences were simply due to a chronological factor? The man observed and sculpted at different stages of life. There is no reason to just jump to the idealizing concept.
@MC91B3 жыл бұрын
Well, No. It is fairly obvious the portraits are of different people at about the same stage in life. Taking your theory in to account means waiting for a person to be sculpted twice then a third left blank until death... maybe.

I was driving a silver Chrysler 300C. Both straights 100. I wish the race would have told us it could pass. I was a bit perplexed. Can't wait for Spring Laps.
@leebenton63789 жыл бұрын
The BMW was allowed to pass being that he was a professional driver. You could ride along with him for I think 10 bucks per session. What were you driving btw? I was in a GTI and had no trouble hitting 110 on the back and 105 on the front straights.

+William Gunn with my single Mac91B1 I averaged 60mph. But with better gearing any clutch adjustment that should be higher. It's vintage ... I was the slowest guy out there. No champion ship points so it's all about fun.

The left is off the wall (from about 6feet with dslr); the direct was taken with a dslr direct to the sensor via a slide projector lens. light source is a 74lumen LED flashlight with the lens removed. it is not perfected.

can you tell us which one is the video captured off the wall and the one from the DSLR? What is your setup to capture from DSLR? thx
