Hi @The_Tate_G, thanks for your question. I've also tried it out and it looks like Virtual Dj made an update on that. Now when you use split stems, the split stem will go to the 3rd or 4th deck. To see them, you should enable 4 Deck mode from the layout dropdown at the top left side of Virtual DJ. Hope this helps 🙃

Yes, You can apply shaders to audio tracks, all you have to do is set your recording output to mp4 even if you are using audio files and VDJ will add your selected shaders instead of the video. The characters dancing in the video are downloadable samples from VDJ's extensions tab. If you'd like to use them, go to 'settings-extensions-samples-video loops'. And YES to your final question, shadertoy dot com is free in 2024 and hopefully forever 🙃🙂 Hope this helps

As for making the BPMs all the same, Automix allows you to use match BPM but only if the difference in BPM isn't too big otherwise you need to get creative and use transitions like Drop mixing, which I actually talk about in this tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5XIeWdue699iqM PS: I'm working on a refreshed tutorial focused on the automix editor, hopefully you'll stick around for it. 😉

@@YoungSimbaEmpire Thank you. Can you help me out on this matter. I am trying to make a mix that not only has the same Bpm which I've managed to do now but, importantly I really need to make the matching BPM mix into a 32 count throughout also. Is there an automated way to do this please? 🙏🏽

Hi @TheAlmorah 👋. sorry if you're finding this frustrating, let's see if we can change that. To save your mix after you are done editing, hit record under the master tab which should be in the middle of the main screen, then press the automix button at the top of the automix playlist. This will start playing the automix while at the same time recording it. And to have your automix play on both the 'Red' and 'Blue' decks, head to settings > options > automix > automix dual deck (select yes) Now you should be able to have both decks playing during Automix. As for stopping the mis from playing, maybe explain further what you mean and I'll get back to you. Hope this helps 🙃

@@YoungSimbaEmpire thank you for replying back. In terms of stopping the music. What I meant was do I have to keep the mix playing for the entire hour in order to have it record & saved? It's just so mundane having to wait for the entirety of the mix before I go onto making another one. If there is a way to do this i appreciate your help 🙏🏽

Hi @mariomensahnicholas8889 👋🙂 I haven't used VDJ on mac yet but I think the process is the same as windows. What I do to mass analyse songs for BPM, keys etc. is " Right click on a folder - Batch - analyze for BPM etc. " This will analyze every song in that folder. Alternatively, I click on 1 song then press ctrl+A to select all the songs then right click on any song and select batch, then analyze for BPM. Hope this helps 🙂

Not all tracks have a Intro or Outro, but most tracks have either a 4, 8 or 16 bar intro, the outro is usually when the tracks vocals have come to an end and the track then just plays out.
