Need to loose some weight or find some more HP, Iridium plugs give you 2HP, i use them in my Pulsar and you can notice the dif but not a lot

Thanks, I call this car Old Faithful as she’s suppose to be retired but with engine problems with it replacement she’s been pressed back into service and still goes pretty well !!.

Good racing back in the day I used to live in chch and went to the real Wigram Grand prix races but still great you Craig pidgeon to own and avenger of the rootes group which later was cooper Henderson motors I worked at w.h price and son's it's gone now ,but you're hauling the triumph 2.5 I'n and would ve Been further up the order at the end where is Hillman hunter GLS man Robert hart these days?

@@tipeneuriti4899 Hi Yes that Triumph was mine if only I had another lap, Thanks for your comments, I raced against Grant Hart and his son Robert in there very quick GLS Hunter many years ago, last I heard the Hunter was sold into the North Island. I have been racing Avengers for 40 years this year so have done a few laps around Ruapuna. Hope you enjoyed the in car footage and thanks for commenting.

@craigpidgeon wandering if a 5 SPD or a overdrive box which early hunter GLS sedan came out , because I had a opportunity to buy one along dealership it was brought into NZ to get you greater top speed along the front straight keep up with the videos bro I used to own a couple of chargers also and anyway it is what it is have a great Xmas from Waiuku Auckland

This looks like a fun day out for all. Been wishing I could earn enough money somehow with my writing to take a trip to Bilbo B.'s neighborhood and surf Manu and Gizzie, etc. then figure out how to enjoy driving fun and hopefully classic era motor cars a bit. Never seen many of your cars competing. You can always put the kettle on if rain interrupts.

I have no idea, but the physical size would be very similar in the engine bay, it would be worth investigating further.

Oh, I miss that sound! Had a 1600 ex-rally Skip Brown tuned Q-car with twin 40’s as a daily driver back in the 80’s. Used to love terrorising XR3i drivers who thought they were quicker!

Was great watching the Avenger scream up the hill Craig. Learnt a lot from this video and a lot faster compared to my run in the Fiat!
