1:52 That's the whole reason why I want to be a mental health nurse, I want to help people heal and gain the resilience and joy they always had that was buried in a heart that has been hurt by terrible circumstances or thoughts and watching them grow. I cannot wait to take that role after university

There are two sides of this story. I was a mental health staff, directly involved in patients' care. The amount of bullying and threats certain staff who were easy targets for manipulative ward's management I worked on we received and experienced from them was unprecedented. Never ever doing mental health in the uk. I'm glad I signed out from that business just in time.

A study of what plants can do for us, must do for us, but no study of their consciousness? Do they have a consciousness? They sure are sensitive to light, temperature and moisture. Perhaps I might get some answers from the Philosophy Department. ...I love talking plants

Bogus, most foods in America contain high fructose corn syrup which is known to cause a large amount of side effects which includes hyperactivity. there are many studies out there that prove this. this video is very misleading. Natural sugar may not cause hyperactivity and health issues, but high fructose corn syrup, which is in everything, will cause many problems.
@shlacked2690
@shlacked2690 Жыл бұрын
there is zero evidence to suggest corn syrup causes hyer activity. literally 0. do not pull “facts” straight out of your ass. what youre most likely experiencing is the placebo effect. i love when clueless 50 year olds think they know better than science.

Hooke was an extremely clever guy, and said to be a gentleman. Newton did his best to rid the Royal Society of anything to do with him - even though Hooke founded it. Hooke beat Newton in various areas, such as optics.

I am not a social worker I am a client that has a social worker what I don't like about you social workers is when you want to pressurise us into what you want to here and pressurise us into other things and make forss things about us and go back into ar past but you don't want to go forward and why do you want to go back in ar past when the past can not be fixed how we are now is what matters

Hi Lisa, I am a Social worker in practice and what I have come to learn about our profession is when someone needs help from us it is important to know the history of the person so that we have a proper diagnosis of the problem to work on it. Some challenges that you currently face in your life right now may be caused by what you experienced in early years of your life. it is not easy to visit the past as it may be filled with trauma and hurt, but honestly we do it for the best interest of the client to revisit the past to heal in the present and have a better future. I would advice you to express your concerns with your Social Worker. Best of luck with your journey :)

Bogus.. when I prevent my son from having sugar over the course of a few days there's a clear difference in hyper Behavior, attention span and general daily activities. I would like to know how long it the children in this test abstained from sugar before thre test was administered? Please and Thank you.
@shlacked2690
@shlacked2690 2 жыл бұрын
Partly your own confirmation bias partly the fact that since you withhold sugar from your child they become very exited when they do consume it, causing some degree of hyperactivity but only due the sweet taste and excitement of finally being able to consume it. There is no known compounds in sugar that are known to cause energy bursts and/or hyperactivity.
@BruisedWater

As the other commenter said, look up the definition of confirmation bias. Sugar is not a stimulate (a class of drug that affects the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).

Bogus?!?! Another ignorant parent who knows better than science. 1 child and 1 clearly biased parent does not make a scientific experiment. Why do people so firmly believe this garbage? What do people have to gain from perpetuating BS like sugar makes kids hyperactive? what difference does it make in your life? Why don't you go check your horoscope while you're at it 😂
