since it's eventually probably going to happen because of the song getting popular and Billford and everything I feel like I just need to go ahead and say that we need to quit gatekeeping everything since it's going to happen that people then get mad because new people are discovering this song from tiktok and gravity falls edits. people are allowed to discover new media and artists and music and etc from social media and popular trends and it doesn't instantly make them a bad fan or more or less of a fan. there isn't a rule stating that you have to be there before something got popular to truly like it or that you're better than someone else. it's because of behaviors like this is why fandoms are so toxic and have issues with toxicity and people leaving and people not interacting with the fandom or not wanting to have interests since there are so many people now that get so hostile whenever you discovered something during a trendy/popular phase. and like take a slice with anxiety if you don't like people constantly mentioning billford it and find it annoying you can always ignore them you don't have to pay attention to them and honestly after a few months it will die down. I'm just so tired of the toxicity and gatekeeping of literally everything words basically impossible to try to get into anything now because certain OG fans will rip you apart because you discovered it when it was trendy or popular.

holy shit- memory unlocked had a character for RP club at highschool, Zero, pretty much a sentient mannequin that can change their build on whim (gremlin/goblin sized sneaky to full on gorilla sized tank) ? given they were pretty much the "hello dm, id like to seduce the door. so it opens, yes" but it was still way too rad a character to honestly forget ty for that accidental reminder- now i got one serious mini-boss stocked up (or potential addition to the party?)
