I've had the same issue with this and many other smaller rc planes. Some will just not fly in manual. It has to be the size vs wind and sensitivity of control surfaces along with being out of trim. I'm working on correcting this issue myself whti this and some Of my other planes. Keep testing and making adjustments and be quick on the switch if you have problems recovering. I'm sure its doable but like you said this little plane is super fast which makes it even more difficult to fly in manual. I only have problems with 6D mode myself. So currently I have larger planes I fly in manual.

@@AlToneTech I heard there's a way to do a reset on the controller, some say the mode 2 somehow got leveled out wrong, I don't know the procedure tho

@@BeefSupreme-vk9sz hmmm, interesting. The only thing is if stabilization is working that should mean that the gyro is properly calibrated. Not sure if there might be something wonky with the controller but I guess it could be. I will take a look around to see what I find. If you do find info please be sure to drop in another comment as to what you find. 👍 I may try to do another vid on this topic with this plane if a fix is found. I love this plane as well.

Yes I did. It’s the reason I get awesome hang time on the wheelies. But I did just find out this guy should be able to handle 4s. So I’m sure that will increase speeds dramatically!😊

@@alextucker8624 this truck is super great quality with tons of possible upgrades and replacement parts. It’s about half that price but can oven-time with upgrades be worth much more than $400. And comes with everything you need except controller batteries in the box! I think this is a great choice!

@@alextucker8624 but to be fair I have never owned a traxxas.

It is normally for the remote camera angle adjustment. This drone camera angle must be adjusted by hand manually so the wheel is not functional.

I do not know of any RC fixed wing plane that is good for indoor flight in the space of a living room. But yes this plane can do head high circles in a relatively small back yard but you will have to be a very good pilot to fly it level in a small space. It needs speed to create lift. Cheaper RC planes are not made for precise flying. These size planes are great because they are durable. They are great for beginners but you do need space to fly them and they are too fast to fly inside a house. If you want an inside your home flyer a small drone would be what you’re looking for and they are great practice tools because the controls are basically. Hope this helps.

I wish they would make a drone that looked and acted like a plane (like a biplane or cessna) yet had same drone capabilities for easy flying! My fastest speed has been about 43mph. @teamjunkyarddog got there’s up to 53mph if I can remember correctly. I am going to try to top that when I have time.

You can clearly see me in the video in the flight footage on the left hand side on the first video at my AMA flying field.
