This boss was one of my favorites because of how tense it was. From the buildup to the actual battle, I was clenching my teeth.

The dialogue before this fight went crazy tho “Ah. Another Maestro to sully their hands against the traitorous son of Tuba King…” “A Tuba Ronin of the old kingdom?” “That kingdom was never lost, Maestro, merely painted over in blood and brass. If you are here to pay respects, then do so quickly, I wish to test your mettle.” “You wish to fight against someone in this graveyard?” “Of course not. There is a field where we shall do battle, and you shall prove your worth as a Maestro.” “I see, you won’t be let down!” After battle: “It is now apparent, your skill. I believe you can save the Tubakind from the traitor, Tuba King II..” “Thank you, Ronin. It pleases me to see not all Tubakind has been convinced by him.” “Only this old relic of the past. Take my blade, I shall need it no more than you will. And when you meet the Traitor, tell him you send my regards for the previous king.” “I shall not let you down.” “…” And with the extra credit scene where you return his blade to his grave? I almost cried.

4 years. 4 years i havent seen this, and after listening to this ost, i understand one thing: No man in the world can understand whole world, no one can. 1 meme is all it takes to create the whole world, it's story, it's existance. I can't express my fellings in words, but one thing i can say for sure: this world will live on, even if it's just a meme, but not the ordinary meme... meme with deep story.

I really love how heaven's position on your actions changes depending on wish which route you take. They always act as an antithesis, either evil if you choose to unite the kingdoms, or a deus ex machina if you slaughter everyone.

Yknow, for years I always wondered why the tuba angel uses the maestros's music box's tune that his mother gave him in its theme, and had always discarded it as the tuba angel trying to freak the maestro out, but I just realized. What if it IS the maestro's mother? Think of it, it calls you the brass kingdom's shining star at the beginning of the fight, like how in the beginning of the game the maestro's mother called him HER shining star.
