3:50 is from the famous Berger-Shattuck shootout that tied the record for the highest pinfall total in any match during the 20+ year run of Stars and Strikes. The full match is available elsewhere on the Tube and it’s a must-see for candlepin devotees.

I don't know if it was last or next to last but the tall bowler in the red shirt was referred to simply as Wally. Was that by chance Wally Basylinski?

Nothing more difficult to do in any type of bowling than throw three in a row in candlepin....

I remember seeing the show that George Raymond was on. I must have watched it with my grandparents who always had bowling on. Like so many others here my first thought was "Poor Charlie Jutras!"

I probably wouldn’t have used the slavery analogy but she absolutely was right and the defendant was incredibly rude.

A 300 candlepin game is possible in any of professional bowling tournaments. It can happen soon for them. For amateurs, it will take a long, longer time.

No one will ever bowl a 300 game in candlepins. No one has even come close in 120 years.

Shame on the defendant for disrupting the judge! He sounded like a racist and was so rude. She made the right decision on going off the defendant. Racism should be ended and we should love all people no matter what they are.

You should have heard him at the end of it when he got outside of the court. The man told him you messed up my career. This man told him well im apolling of that. I know that makes wanted to slap fire from him when he said that. Now that shows his coworkers what he's all about.

These guys made it look easy. It's incredibly hard to get ONE strike in candlepin bowling.
Jeff Atkins was perfect in the 1-2 pocket on all 4. It’s the best way for a righty to strike, in my opinion, but it increases the odds of punching out too. Great video.
@johncirillo95447 күн бұрын
Right handed bowlers are aiming at the 1-3 pocket. The 1-2 pocket is referred to as the Brooklyn side for a right handed bowler and is less desirable.

6:22 Chris Schenkle mentioned a pin coming out of the pit, if you look closely it is the 5 pin that is deflected into the 7 after it collides with the 9 pin.
