Even though you used your factory Aux #4 that it's the 15Amp. You connected more than 15Amp to the Voswitch. Is it going to affect if a turn on a lot of light a the same time for a long period of time?
@Johnnys_Off_Road_Adventures6 ай бұрын
Well actually I learned later that I didn’t even need to do that from factory there is a Dip switch set to use the main power off the voswitch so you only need to hook the ground. Also as per your question yes it is just a signal wire to activate the relay so needs very little amps to operate.
@Johnnys_Off_Road_Adventures6 ай бұрын
So I later learned that the VoSwitch has a Dip switch inside that comes preset to run directly off the power coming into the box so you only need to use the ground wire. But to answer your question yes it’s okay that wire is only a signal wire and requires very little amps to activate the relay. Thanks for watching and asking questions I appreciate it and love to help.

@@Johnnys_Off_Road_Adventures i have a lot of weight already. Im using airbags currently. Bed rack, rtt, 270 awning, fuel and water tanks, power stations, hi lift, fridge on a slider, propane tank, etc…. I added it up one day and with everything im pushing around 700# just in the bed. Plus a lot of the time I’m either hauling kayaks in the bed with a receiver extension, or towing a trailer with up to 10 kayaks on it or my can am side by side. Im averaging around 700# in the bed though at all times that doesnt get unloaded.

Saturday night before this drive my wife and I watched the movie "The Mountain between us" with Idris Elba & Kate Winslet. I had no intention to create my simular kind of adventure.... I thought I had a good route planned and I had verified where I was going... the road closed sign I should have seen on top had Bern knocked down. I came over the top of the Mountain from Midway on FR85 only to get stopped at the gate roughly 4 or 5 miles east of Tibble Fork Reservoir. Lime Subscribe & Donate These guys are awesome! I wish I knew why the hand held saying "low voltage" sounded like "little brown ties." 😂😂😂 I can't unhear it though!

Loved this video! I already installed mine, but now that I've seen yours, I have rethought some things on my installation. First, I love the you used you factory AUX4 for the Ignition sensor. I used the fuse tap to bum off the heated seat fuse which works, but there are some situations where my engine is off and I might want some of my lights on. (Rear emergency fog strobes, rock lights, or anything I don't mind running on battery for limited periods of time). The AUX buttons of the Jeep allow you to choose work on Ignition or Battery, so now we can choose when the Vox switch can be used. Best of both worlds! Bravo! Second, the button visual tutorial really helped me understand the master switch option. Made more sense seeing it in action, so thank you. Third, I didn't know about the wiring channel in the engine bay. I've typically used the wiper bay and cowl opening behind the firewall, which is fine, but this opens up new options. Tons of great little nuggets of info. Thanks so much for the effort you put into the video. 🤘🏾

I'm just curious, why is it important to have a lochs Lockable box in the locked cab of a truck? If they are going to break into the truck, why would this stop them? The only thing i can think of is if your state requires a gun to be locked in the "trunk" this could bring you into compliance if you don't have a topper on your truck?
